The Alde 2928 Comfort boiler has been heating boats and caravans for over 25 years. Its continued development has focused on producing a simple, reliable boiler that is economical and user-friendly. The boiler always burns with a "pilot flame" while heating of the glycol miaxture is taken care of by the main burner. The temperature of the liquid in the boiler can be regulated between 35-75deg C and thus adjusted to the outside temperature.

The Alde 2928 Comfort boiler has a power output of up to 6.2 kW, providing abundant heating and hot water. The boiler is fully compliant with all EU/RCD regulations and, ever popular on narrowboats, is approved by the Boat Safety Scheme.

The optional installation kit contains: flue terminal, fastening ring, cowl, cap and extension pipe, inlet air hose with clips, room thermostat, socket panel and connectors.

ASSEMBLY PARTS FOR COMFORT BOILERS
|
|
in order to install and use the boiler, a number of assembly parts are required. Room thermostat, socket panel and five flat pin connectors are required. For the Comfort 2928 a flue is required, also a connecting shoulder, an inlet hose, two hose clips and an extension pipe between the boiler and the flue. The extension pipe can be cross-cut as required.

The boiler always burns with a ”pilot flame”, while heating of the glycol mixture is taken care of by the main burner, which has an output of over 5 kW. The temperature of the liquid in the boiler can be regulated between 35 – 75 °C and thus adjusted to the outside temperature. In this way, the boiler always gives best possible heating in the most economical way.

The Comfort 2928 takes in combustion air in the outer roof pipe, and leads down via a hose to the combustion space. The exhaust is emitted through the inner pipe in the same flue. This means that it is not necessary to make a hole for the inlet pipe in the floor, which is a clear advantage with installation in a camper where spars and bars can be in the way. Because combustion air and exhaust go in and out through the same flue, there is the same pressure on the inlet air as on exhaust gases (balanced draught). For this reason this boiler is preferable in campers if the boiler is to be running while you are on the move. The boilers are equipped with ionising re-ignition.

Electrical heating cartridge power is selected, with changeover switch and circuit breaker on the control panel (1 or 2 kW) and circulation pump (12 or 230 V).

The Comfort boilers are ready for mounting of electrical heating cartridge 2737 921 or 2762 921 and also water heater 2959 901.
