The Firdell Blipper 300-5 is one of the most versatile radar reflectors in the Firdell Blipper Series As a guarantor of a boats radar visibility it can be seen on a wide range of civil and military working craft, from the Trinity House and other pilot boats in European waters to New Zealand pilot and rescue boats on the other side of the world, and on commercial hovercraft and fishing boats as well as on leisure powerboats. The 300-5 is an ideal reflector for yachts of about 40 feet LOA and above, and is the choice of thiail training ships of many nations and of such fleets as those operated by the Ocean Youth Club. As a target for radar-controlled missile and gunnery training, it is accredited by NATO and is also used as a target for operator training and radar calibration. Buoy and beacon manufacturers list the Blipper 300-5 as a standard reflector for navmarks requiring a constant, strong radar return through movement and heel (actual and relative). It is available in white.

The Blipper 300-5 meets the requirements of the UK Dept of Transport’s M Notice 1947 (1992) and is certified by them as conforming with the Marine Radar Reflector Performance Specifications 1977
