Tuning in your 12v television

As you move around the country you will find that there are very few places that give you no reception for your television. The non-directional aerials may struggle for reception in areas such as the South West of England and Scotland. Fixed directional aerials such as the Vision Plus Status 550 and 560 provide a good picture providing they are pointing in the correct direction. If you are on a site with other caravans you will generally find that all aerials point in one direction, point yours the same way and you should be on a winner. In some places you will find that you need to revolve your aerial so that it is in a vertical plane – again look at the other aerials on the site and do likewise.
Most modern 12v TV’s have automatic tuning which should pick up the available programmes – make sure you tune your television in every time you arrive on a site if you are touring to get the best possible reception.
