New Ludlow caravan park set to open

People with caravan accessories such as Truma caravan water heaters may be considering a trip to Ludlow after Morris Leisure announced plans to open a £3 million park there in May 2012.
The 20-acre development will contain 135 pitches and offer a shot in the arm to tourism in the area, according to the company.
Morris Leisure's managing director, Edward Goddard, said mild weather has allowed contractors to make excellent progress on the project and as such it is expected to open ahead of schedule.
"It's an exciting time for everyone associated with the new park, which is generating an incredible amount of interest from caravanners and motorhome owners from across the UK," Mr Goddard added.
He expressed his gratitude to local people and councillors for their support throughout the planning and development process.
Ludlow, in South Shropshire, offers a number of attractions to holidaymakers and caravanners, offering excellent walking and cycling routes around the nearby countryside.
