TILL THEY OPEN NO PROBLEM TO ME CHECKED UP ON MONDAY THE
THE PRODUCT WAS BEING PROCESSED TUESDAY IT ARRIVED WELL
CUFFED GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT AND EXCELLENT SERVICE
TO GET THE PRODUCT THRO THE RAIL USE THE THICK RED WIRE OFF THE
MAINS ELECTRIC TURN THE WIRE ON THE END ABOUT HALF INCH DRILL
A SMALL HOLE IN THE PLASTIC THREAD AND PULL SLOWLY
GIVE THE STRIP TIME TO SETTLE BACK FROM STRECHING IF YOU DO NOT
PIN IT IT WILL SHRINK BACK TO NORMAL SIZE THE HERZIM STRIP IS A
LOT STRONGER THAN IT LOOKS

Very good service, but dissapointed with the quality of the product. Compared to other sources, it is low grade & the colour quality is poor. Ask for a sample first in the colour you want before buying.

An excellent product at half the price of a certain nameless auction site! Make sure you measure the width before ordering, not like me. I hadn't realised there were so many sizes and my van uses two which look the same from a distance.
As with so many jobs, the messy bit is cleaning the rail after removing the old strips. The originals had been screwed through at the ends. I made a much neater job with a spot of glue/sealant at each end.
. . . and did I mention that I broke a nail?

I needed to remove and replace a section of aluminium trim in order to fix a small leak. I decided to renew the plastic trim at the same time - it looked so good and was very easy to do so I replaced the rest as well. I used a 2" putty knife to ease it into place. Looks great.

Item arrived quickly and well packed. I needed to replace the strip around the gas locker on our motorhome as it was falling out and would not push back in. Set about fitting it on Saturday morning - the only rain shower was during this process!
Easy to fit on the straight but the corners were more challenging. We managed and got the strip in centimetre by centimetre. and once on the straight bits we wizzed away. Took us nearly an hour as the corners kept popping out but once we mastered the technique - one fits and one holds the strip in - had it done in no time.
Well worth the effort as the effect is brilliant.

I ordered the green strip as a replacement for the faded brittle cream that was originaly fitted, It was a bit fiddly to fit, the art is to use a very blunt chisel and just work slowly along the aluminium rails running a finger along the trim when completed, my caravan looks really good now and different from the rest. Now just need to give it a good polish. Well pleased.

I bought the strip for use on Narrowboat windows - to replace the rubber cover strip over the fixing screws.
The strip is advertised as 11mm wide when fitted - the actual strip measured 12.5mm which made it quite difficult to fit. The only solution I found was to pre-warm the strip or use it in very warm weather, I would not like to attempt to fit in the winter months. I am now waiting for the strip to settle/shrink before trimming to length.
