Gas regulator suitable for Butane or Propane with a pressure output of 30 millibar. Suitable for bulkhead mounting and the M20 threaded inlet is at right angles to allow the regulator to be mounted at the highest point in the gas compartment. Outlet to suit 8mm steel or copper piping.

Hi, My truma gas regulator is gushing gas out of a yellow nipple on the side. I am worried about replacing it with a truma again as it's a common fault. Many people in the Facebook crazy caravan club have had similar faults.
You can replace the Truma regulator with a Cavagna regulator, Our ref. 255670 to suit outlet piping of 10mm diameter or 255669 to suit outlet piping of 8mm diameter.
Note these regulators do not have the isolating valve but can be operated without.
I have a problem with a Truma Regulator not working properly looking on the web at this continuing problem would it be just as well go back to fitting the old style regulator straight to the gas bottle and do away with the truma one.
The bulkhead regulators give an output of 30 mbar and the bottle mounted regulators are either 28 mbar for butane or 37 mbar for propane. I suggest that you try the cheaper bulkhead mounted regulator - our part 155670 for 10mm gas pipe outlet, or 155669 for 8mm dia. gas pipe outlet.

I used the Cavagna 8mm gas regulator to replace the very expensive truma version of the bulkhead 30 Mbar regulator. It was very easy to do and works very well. Only down side is that it does not have a shut off valve. You could easily install an in line gas tap below this regulator if you require one.
