Bought this Shurflo Trail King pump to replace the one that started leaking in my motorhome, the old one was dated 1998 (when the motorhome was new) but then found that all of the pushfit connectors associated with the pump needed replacing, probably due to age.

This was an almost instant painless replacement. My 14 year old pump Shurflo Trail King 7 was weeping,noisy and a contact had corroded.
I found that the head and switch could be replaced but the whole unit was cheaper, and less work
In less than 2 days the new one had arrived and got fitted. I bet this will out live the rest of the van now

Our pump refused to prime after the winter drain down. We spend a lot of time in France and the soft lime scale ruins diaphragm pumps after some years, it was full of sludge.
Simple direct replacement of the original.

I needed to replace the original Trail King 7 Pump after in excess of 160 weeks of use due to inconsistent behaviour of the microswitch mechanism. The replacement was extremely straightforward. I was surprised how powerful 20 psi really was - clearly performance had slowly deteriorated over the years!

I bought this to pump water from a mini-fridge to cooling jackets around my home brew barrels, so not its usual use. The first pump I bought did the job but it was incredibly noisy (buy cheap buy twice - DOH) so I bought this with not much idea about what 57dB would sound like, only that it would be quieter than the cheapo Chinese one it was replacing. It is much, much better and that's before I even put the sound insulation foam around it. Very happy with this pump. Time will tell how long it will last as it is not designed to run 24/7 but on the other hand, it isn't doing very much work so it might be okay.

An excellent product at an excellent price. Good information online enabling the right product to be identified. Fast and efficient delivery.
Just one problem, which a couple of other reviewers have noted - the standard box the pump is packed in is not sufficiently robust for the onward journey. This box was inside a large padded envelope which offered no protection at all. Result was that was a piece broken off the pump and the box was nearly destroyed. The broken piece was unimportant and the pump works fine but I suggest additional packing is required. (Bubble wrap inside and outside the box would help.)

This is the third Shurflow pump in as many years. We are not sure why they are failing or we would go for the appropriate overhaul kit, there is no obvious fault when you take it apart. We are full timers so do put the pump through a lot of use - they may just be wearing out. It would be nice to think though that they would last longer than 12-18 months. Hence the below average rating. I would emphasise this is no criticism of Leisureshopdirect. Their service and communication has been excellent and their price on this pump is the best we can find.

I bought this pump to replace the AutoTrail original because it seemed to have too much air in the flow of water. There was no repair kit available.It seems the manufacturer of this one is not in business.The box the Trail King Shurflo pump came in looked as if it had had a very rough journey. However, I checked it for damage and everything seemed ok. I have installed it and it works just fine.It does seem to be slightly noisier than my last pump (PosiFlowt).It primed vey quickly and the flow looked good.What else can you say about a pump??

Bought this Shurflo Trail King Pump as a replacement for the Shurflo pump in my 10 year old Vanmaster caravan.
The old pump had started to leak a little around the gasket, and after 10 years service it didn't seem worth trying to repair or refurbish it.
Leisureshop Direct website Q&A area suggested this pump as the direct replacement for my old one, and the price was significantly better than any other I found on the web.
Next day delivery (superb service, as always), and installation was a matter of a few minutes, as the two water pipe connections and the four fixing screw holes were identical to the old pump.
Performance of the new pump makes me realise that the old one had been below par for some time - absolutely delighted with the new one, in terms of efficiency, value for money, and ease of fitting. Highly recommended.
