Stainless flue pipe for Truma fires. 55mm diameter. 1 metre long only ONLY WHILE STOCKS LAST (for 2M LONG USE CODE 273549 AND FOR 5M LENGTH USE CODE 273548)

Used on the Truma S3002 models and normally installed with ducting 231699 which is fitted concentrically to provide a shield for the hot flue pipe.


PLEASE NOTE THE ENDS OF THIS PIPE ARE SHARP PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN REMOVING THE TAPE FROM THE ENDS.

I recently had an accident with a height barrier and destroyed the flue on the roof of my caravan. I have recently purchased a new flue from you to replace the broken one. On fitting the new flue I had to trim back the silver internal flue and it is now approx.15mm short of the lip inside the new unit. Is there any way I can extend the flue or seal the slight gap between the flue and the new fitting.
It is important that there is no gap in the flue as this could introduce flue gases into your vehicle. It is best to have a 'Gas Safe' engineer look at it as he may be able to apply some high temperature sealant if applicable. Otherwise you may have to replace the flue pipe from the fire to the flue terminal. In either case you must have a competent person check the installation with a gas flue analyser. I bought the Truma 55mm flue to use on an old Carver space heater I was fitting in my DIY camper van conversion. The Truma flue is to the same spec and has proved ideal. I felt lucky to have sourced it as I needed just over 3m (the normal Truma kits only provide 3m). It is easy to use, I would always recommend wearing heavy duty protective gloves when working with it as the cut edges are very sharp, the easiest way I found to get a decent cut edge is to put 50mm gaffer tape round the flue where you want to cut it to use as a guide and carefully use a junior hacksaw to cut the flue remembering to then remove the tape afterwards as it is combustible.
