How do I change the microswitch in a Reich Deluxe Single Tap? I have just bought a complete new tap but it seems the microswitch is a weak point which will fail again in the future. Experimenting with the old tap I have managed to prise off the clear plastic tap head but have been unable to remove the microswitch without serious damage to the black plastic body of the tap.

After removing the clear plastic tap head it is normally possible to extract the microswitch with a pair of thin nosed pliers. The replacement microswitch can be pushed into position with a small screwdriver.
