i have a crystal sprint 390d on one of the windows it has a truma switch which goes to the boiler could you tell me what this is please

Answer

It is likely that the flue from the water heater is directly below the window. If the window is opened the switch is deigned to stop the heater such that exhaust fumes cannot enter the caravan.
