  Product Description
Every vehicle instantly seems so much more inviting when equipped with this compact roof light, which admits just the right amount of light into the interior. The Dometic Mini Heki Style Rooflight (43-60mm roof thickness) opens to three positions: fully open, half-open and bad-weather position.

This handle-operated, double acrylic glazed Mini Heki Style roof light for motorhomes and caravans fits neatly into a standard 400 x 400 mm aperture. An inner frame holds a darkening blind and fly screen (separately adjustable) for shade, privacy and freedom from insects! Operated by a hand-lever, the dome can be opened to three different positions: fully open, half-open and bad-weather position.

The Mini-Heki style (formerly Plus) is suited exceptionally well for installation in standard-sized dome lights (400 x 400 mm). With a black flyscreen and a pleated fabric blind to guarantee efficient dimming.

This rooflight is without fixed ventilation for roof thickness 43 - 60mm.

What's the difference between with or without fixed ventilation?
Without Fixed Ventilation
This means when the Dometic Mini Heki Style is closed it is completely sealed. There is no ventilation. This is the best option for a motorhome. If a motorhome owner decided to fit a "with fixed ventilation" rooflight, the air would flow through the ventilation gap whilst driving and likely cause a wind noise or whistling. This obviously doesn't matter in a caravan!

With Fixed Ventilation
When the rooflight is completely closed there is still a small amount of ventilation. This helps prevent damp and is the option that should be used in caravans.

I chose these roof lights to replace old single glazed lights. I was pleasantly surprised at how much more light they permit than my old winder handle roof lights. I also look forward to seeing how much of a difference the double acrylic window makes to the motorhomes warmth.

Easy Replacement Of My Storm-damaged Heki Mini

Ordered the Dometic Mini Heki Style Rooflight to replace mine which blew off last week during some severe weather. I suspect we did not have the original fastened down correctly and thus I have to take the blame for the problem. I identified the correct replacement item easily on the excellent Leisure Shop Direct website and confirmed they would supply to Spain where we are overwintering in our 2006 Tabbert Vivaldi 655. Having placed the order and paid by PayPal, I resigned myself to a lengthy wait for delivery. I was delighted to be kept informed by DPD and their Spanish partner SEUR of all the stages of delivery and I had the replacement item in hand within 5 days. I already had suitable mastic and a sealant gun to hand so I was able to remove the old roof light and fit the replacement in less than an hour. I am delighted with the product, the price and service from Leisure Shop Direct and the reasonably priced, speedy and safe delivery from DPD/SEUR

A Rooflight Change For The Better

I had installed a rooflight years ago in my washroom onboard the campervan which required both hands and a very awkward action to open it yes it was omnidirectional and did provide ventilation but it also let in the rain so decided to install this version of rooflight. Very essy to remove old unit and install the new one. Now can be opened and adjusted with one hand. Conveniently the weather changed so a test was achieved which enabled ventilation without rain entering. A big thumbs up for that! Ordering and delivery was very efficient completed in a day. My thanks to all.
