Robust and practical. Have renewed one before so when electric version failed on most recent van I decided the manual was the better unit. Failed pump had been "fixed" by cowboy technician and underwater cable joints protected only by insulation tape and corroded out. The swap was tricky but worked ok. Pump more reliable than electric and can be removed and cleaned if required.

Pump came in time stated .easy to fit the hardest part was removing pipe off old one and putting it back onto new pump (also dropping a screw into water) sealant already on new one so don't need to purchase separately.

Ordered the Thetford manual pump for our C200 toilet as the one in caravan was broken and needed replacing. Item delivered within a couple of days and well packaged. Easy to fit once you know how (with easy to follow instructions obtainable from website) but this is the second time we have needed to replace this item in 9 years as there seems to be a "weakness" in the clips at the bottom - or am I being picky?

The loo pump lost force while we were away. Checking it, tbe bottom of the pump body had split, so got this as a replacement. Good to see that it is an original Thetford one, but it seems that these are known to fail - will have to see how well it lasts.
Easy to fit, once you get past the existing sealant, and comes with new sealant on the flange. Even included 2 new stainless steel screws.

I had arrived at my chosen campsite only to find that after winter storage the original pump (12 years old) did not work properly. Decided that full replacement was the better option. Sent off to leisure direct, paid for express delivery and received item 4 days later. This being controlled by the supplier to ld. Was kept informed at all stages of delivery by ld. Couldn't wish for better service. The pump was fairly easy to fit even with my big mitts. Thank you Ld.

The base of my existing Thetford pump had broken away due to the lugs snapping, it was 8 years old and used a lot. This is a direct replacement and requires the removal of six screws and the pick-up pipe from the anti-syphon valve. The whole operation took ten minutes with the best tool being a stubby Philips head screwdriver.. The new unit comes ocomplete with new waterproof sealant so that the top flange seals onto the cistern.
There is nothing not to like and it looks like the original. Arrived in a padded bag within a few days. Good service, well done.

As with many other reviewers, the manual pump on our caravan toilet stopped working unexpectedly. When my husband went to look at it, the clips had broken, which appesrs to be a common problem. We searched online for the model number, and found it at Leisureshop direct, cheaper than other suppliers, even after postage was added.I order the part on Sunday and it was delivered the next day. Just wish my husband was as fast to fit it! Super service, would highly recommend.

I had an electric flush fitted to my caravan and both units installed failed far too quickly, so l decided to try this manual unit, and quite frankly it works much better. There is hardly any noise compared to the previous units and controlling the flush speed is much better. The only down side was that the pipe leading into the water reservoir was a little shot and fitting it was just a little tight, but apart from that it has been money well spent. I should mention the supplier as well, l needed the replacement sent to me in Ireland and l was told it would be with me in 2 to 7 days. It actually arrived on the second day, so you can't really get better than that. I would fully recommend these people.

I thought that I had accidentally used a little to much force and had broken the pump and immediately ordered spares. So not to be without the toilet I took it apart to affect a temporary repair and was surprised to find that the pump itself was still intact and undamaged . The culprit was the retainer below the pump,its securing lugs had snapped off.I made an emergency repair as I waited spares. Ether way it was an easy fix only taking care not to drop the screws caused me a little worry. A pity though that the retainer isn't as robust .

The pump on my Thetford cassette toilet failed and I needed a replacement unit.

This was purchased to replace a unit where the plastic clips on the retainer had broken. The pump is 9 years old so for the small extra cost it made sense to replace the whole unit rather than just the broken retainer. It was easy to fit and works well.

The replacement flush unit was straightforward to replace and restored normal operation of the toilet. The clips at the base of the plunger had broken on the original and this appears to be a weakness (possibly damaged by frost).

A 400 mile trip to Cornwall meant a stopover en route only to find that the toilet pump was only pumping at 10%. iPad found leisurshopdirect, iPhone made a call, leisure shop put pump in post, pp and caravan arrived on site with two ours of each other. Leisueshop is now our very best friend. Thank you guys. AND price with express delivery was still less than rec.retail. 😍. Perhaps I should add that the Thetford Cassette Toilet pump was a manual version with very good instruction and was up and running in 10 minutes flat.

Having been heavy handed with the original pump it needed replacing. I ordered the replacement pump on Saturday afternoon, it was dispatched on the following Monday and arrived on the Tuesday. Was bought as a replacement for damaged pump of same model.
It works well but I have doubts about the durability of the clip arrangement at the base of the pump. It was these clips that failed on the unit that was replaced.

Had a problem with Visa checkout, phone call to "Sales" and it was sorted - part arrived in 2 working days.
Still looks flimsy on the plastic hooks that retain valve base, and I pulled the output pipe off when removing the old pump, it wasn't too easy to push back onto the spigot in the base of the tank.
Try to check the pipe runs inside the tank before it's too late, I had to use 2 routes before I reckoned to get it right!
