Description
These VETUS rudders have a blade made of cast stainless steel. They are manufactured in two different models. The blade sides are high-gloss polished and need no additional finishing. Each rudder comes complete with a rudder arm (see picture), to which a VETUS hydraulic steering cylinder can be connected. A rudder gland may be supplied as an extra. The stainless steel rudder stock is provided with a hole, to facilitate the fitting of an emergency tiller.
The tiller arms are suitable for various types of steering, including our VETUS hydraulic cylinders MTC 30, MTC 38 MTC 52 and MTC 72.
Vetus Aluminium rudder arm for Ø 30 mm rudder shaft
Fixing to the rudder shaft is by means of 2 clamping bolts and 2 grub screws. Provided with 4 connection points, so that these tiller arms are suitable for various types of steering.
