This is a great step for being stable and sturdy , we have 3 little dogs and one of them used to loose her balance and fall through the back of the normal steps , so hubby stuck a rubber mat on both steps to get rid of the holes and hey presto no more falling trough and even more secure , great step this is our second one first one was given to us and instantly loved how sturdy it was it does not move

I bought the Milenco giant step to use as a temporary measure for access through French doors that have replaced a window at the back of my property. A step will need to be built in the near future but this step was the perfect solution for the time being and much safer than the makeshift single step that I had made out of loose bricks and a board.
The step is lightweight, but very sturdy and has been so useful in just a week or so of using it. The holes in the step ensure that the rain will not gather on the step and they also provide a grippable surface making it very safe.
I would definitely recommend the Milenco double step.

Have only used the MGI Giant step a couple of times since purchasing but it fulfils our requirements - to helps us get over a lowish fence into a vegetable garden. Very sturdy & robust, it could also be used for a host of other jobs around the house such as decorating, window cleaning. Not just a caravan step!!

We bought these steps to enable us to climb in and out of our hot tub. They needed to be strong, not wobbly or bendy and wider than our step stool which we were already using.

I bought this caravan step because it said it was really strong and it is. Good for the bigger user or older user. I would say it is much better than the metal ones. The small holes let the rain drain through so there are no puddles on it.

I have had this step before and my foot ended going through the bottom step. A bit flimsy and plastic to thin. Solution is to put a piece of ply on the bottom step to strengthen it and then it lasts. The size and stability is excellent but the strength of the plastic on the bottom step needs to be better. However as explained we have come up with a solution that with very little effort works. Thick ply bolted onto the bottom step spreads the weight as the foot goes down and then all is well.

I thought these where going to be little plastic steps. The wife did measure beforehand, but I was very impressed when they came. actually quite big. very solid and very sturdy, they will no doubt last many years. Great for use on our conservatory, as we need a movable option for mowing the lawn. We will definatley be buying more, as we replace several old caravan steps. For the size and quality, I feel they are great value and would highly recommend them.

I am delighted with this large double step. My concern with it being too large was unfounded as you can see from the photograph the size is perfect for my Bailey Valencia caravan.
It is sturdy and stores easily in the caravan, only needs to be turned on its side to fit through door. Delivery only a few days even over Xmas.

Sturdy, easy to lift and ok on fairly uneven ground. I use them to clamber off and on the narrowboat when the towpath is rather low. Sadly, though, the dog isn't keen on using them yet; and I wish I'd measured where I intended to store them before buying!

Very solid structure. Ideal for seasonal use but not for touring. Dogs can catch their claws in the holes so need to put something over the step to avoid this

Top notch, great product. I have used all types of steps for my caravan and seen a range of others and this is the best by far.
Robust solid material and strong build quality.
Very wide and big steps - great for kids and those with limited mobility.
Non slip tops and holes to peg out. But i have used it on concrete and due to size it should be ok without pegging.

These are brilliant. Yes they are a bit bulky but they're light and extremely stable. I have a new hip and arthritic knees and I struggle with steps, especially if I don't trust them, but these have a large enough tread and feel solid enough to allow me to step out of the caravan confidently. They've been outside in the rain when we've not had the awning up and they don't get slippery. They even have holes in the feet so you can hammer wire pegs into the ground so they wont move, but we've not needed to do this. Definitely recommend.

I'll come back and edit this review if I have any long-term problems but right now they are exactly what I expected them to be, and feel extremely secure. I have an elderly bulldog who had to be lifted in to the camper, which was doing my back in, and although she eyes the holes with deep suspicion she's using the steps so I thank you and my back thanks you.

Well made product firm and strong, the perfect height for My caravan, even makes it easier for the dog to get in and out. Has a good safety feature, plate built in the legs so you can put a couple of awning pegs through to stop the steps from moving. In all a very good product and well manufactured.

This jumbo sized step might be big but it's not too heavy. I feel very safe climbing up and down on it, especially comparing it with the smaller metal step it replaces. The feet are nice and big so they don't sink in the ground. Being made of plastic it is less likely to scratch the inside of the motorhome. It is built very robustly and looks like it will carry heavy people safely.

This step is excellent - and huge!!! I have a problem with my balance, so normal folding steps are no good. I need to place my feet further apart to balance, and find the top hand rails get in the way. This product resolves both problems. It's invaluable for cleaning windows and hanging curtains - not it's intended purpose I know. It's very lightweight, yet really, really sturdy, and I felt very safe standing on it. 5***** product.

Excellent set of steps, quite large so easy to use, but will need to be turned sideways to put inside door. They do not sink into soft ground which others did, they don't rust. Ours developed a problem when left in full sun all day in Provence. The ambient temperature was 34C, so in the sun it was really hot and the plastic actually softened, so it gave way somewhat on one side. The problem disappeared when the temp went back down again.

Lovely step - my 2 year old son had issues with the old open steps (got his leg stuck through the gap at one point) - I bought this to replace them and it's been fantastic. Even on uneven ground it feels rock solid - there's _just_ enough flexibility in it to adapt to the ground, once it's in place there's absolutely no rocking/creaking/groaning or movement of any sort.
My only regret is not getting one sooner - it blows the old metal framed steps out of the water. It's definitely bulkier than other steps - but it lives inside the caravan when not in use, so it doesn't matter to me.

What can you say about a set of steps!! But they are strong, rigid and a really good size which makes far easier to get into our caravan, as we are both disabled. The previous one's we had, we didn't feel happy with.
One gripe, my good lady caught her foot underneath the front and grazed the top of her foot, hopefully she won't do that again.

The step arrived today. Great step. Just what I was looking for. Nice, wide treads. Stable and kind to the ground sheet. No more holes poked through. Loved the step.
The packaging was appalling. The accompanying photo shows the way it arrived. The fact that it was unblemished speaks volumes about the robustness of the steps themselves. If you want a great set of caravan steps buy the Milenco Giant Double step with no qualms, just buy it somewhere else.

As my Wife is disabled and has problems getting in or out of our Caravan, saw these on Amazon and grabbed them. That much wider and that much deeper makes them an ideal set of steps for my Wife. Heavy duty construction should ensure that they will not tip or buckle under load. This was a great purchase and really helped my wife during our holiday. This I most definitely recommend.it is big,but it's easily stored in the caravan when you aren't using it. It feels safe and solid, not heavy wide steps,but that's what we wanted so we can easily step up into the caravan safely, I really think it is great.

I bought this not for its original purpose. I am gonna be using it as an exercise step in my house because proper exercise steps are not high enough. When it arrived the box was battered and torn, which is why I gave four stars, but the product was alright except that a couple of the, I don't know what they are, round suction things at the bottom were dented and one is missing and also it was in need of a cleaning - not much. Clearly it's a returned item but the seller had no idea it was going to be used as exercise equipment and not as a caravan step to be stored in a garage or somewhere similar. I had a go on it and it is certainly effective, much better than one step exercisers. Although it is big it weighs nothing and can be easily lifted. Actually this thing has multi purpose use. I stood on it to reach the top of my wardrobe to dust and I suppose if you're having guests around and there aren't enough seats, just let them sit on it. Handily two chairs in one.

Great purchase. No more missing the step, good depth of tread. Also bought for our dog that wouldn't use previous model, he just tried to jump over the whole thing. Have placed pieces of Hug rug on the treads with cable ties to anchor, great that it can be hosed down if needed.

Bought for a relative for use in the garden but it proved to be too wide a step for the path. So we decided to keep it and it is so handy for the little jobs where you wish you were born a foot taller. Weight-wise it isn't too heavy and thus fairly portable; being made of plastic it can stay outside too but we keep it in the garage..... I can finally reach the middle of the car's roof when I wash it.

Was looking for a set of steps for exercising that didn't cost the earth and was sturdy and more challenging that a step only a few cms off of the ground. These steps proved to be perfect for my needs. The steps are big and wide! (they hide my kettle bells and weights underneath..a bonus). That's perfect and just what I wanted as you can safely run up and down them without fear of missing the steps or slipping of the edges. With free weights in hand these steps make for a fanastic cardio work out. The bonus is they can also be used as a hop up for reaching tops of cupboards and for DIY. So multifunctional. So, not just for caravanners!

I picked up the step from the courier in my smart car and was amazed at the size of the box . I had to unpack the step to get it into my little car ! I was worried that it was far too big but it provides a safe and secure stepping area and gives me far more confidence getting in and out of the caravan . I would recommend this step to every caravanner- for older people like myself and little ones -it gives a good firm area to plant your feet.

I bought this caravan step because it said it was really strong and it is.
Its wide enough to be able to put 2 feet on each step comfortably and its a little higher than the normal 2 step metal variety.
If you struggle with the narrow steps I recommend this one, easy to get onto and into the caravan.
Well done Milenco you have listened to campers, we are not all young and can jump up.

Have previously had an aluminium double step which sank on wet ground. This is much lighter and, with feet similar to the single standard plastic steps, I don't think it is likely to sink. Its a lot bigger than the single, but being plastic, its light and you can turn it 90 degrees if you are stuck for space in your porch awning. Much easier to get in and out the caravan for both us and our dog - top buy!
