How do I get my heating vents working in my avondale dart 525/4 2008 please

On top of your fire you will have a fan control which is designed to control the speed of the fan that distributes the warm air around the caravan. This control panel is our ref. 128063. Positioning the switch to the left will cause the fan to run continuously. Positioning the switch to the left to the 'A' position will allow the fan to become thermostatically controlled and the fan will cut out when the room is at the desired temperature. The dial controls the speed of the fan.
If the fan fails to operate then it is normally a problem with the control switch which you may have to replace.

Parts required for Truma S3002 with auto ignition and Trumavent. That is not nice! the parts that you need are our ref. 128025 and 128063.

Hi we have a Truma s3002 and the gas side works and the left hand side on the switch works but when you slide the switch t a position it does not do anything. Sometimes when u put pressure on it it will come through. We have had the front off and if you put pressure on the white connecter it worked? What part do I need t get it blocking hot air through? Thanks

It sounds as if you need to replace the control switch 128063 but cannot be sure if this will solve the problem.

Our Truma fire works well but the fan has stopped working the elect cable is OK - is there a separate fuse for this?

No there is not normally a separate fuse. You may find that the control knob assembly has failed, our ref. 128063.

We have just bought an Autotrail Arapaho with a Truma S3002 blown air heating system. On the top right side is the control for the blown air system. My question is what does the arrow type symbol on the left side of this control mean?

I assume that you are referring to the fan control , our ref. 128063, This has an 'off' position in the middle. The left hand position will cause the fan to run continuously (normally used if you wish to circulate air during warm weather). The right hand position, marked 'A' is the automatic position used when the heater is operating and the fan will cut out when the vehicle temperature has reached the thermostat setting.

Truma S 3002 blower not working on auto or manual, lots of heat, what can this be?, is there a fuse? just stopped

This would normally be a problem with the control switch, our part 128063. It could also be the small printed circuit board on the fan housing or the fan itself has failed.
Firstly remove the front cover of the fire and make sure that the cable is correctly attached to the control switch.

Ordered part. Which was lucky as truma didn’t answer any emails. Bit pricey , but it worked as soon as I replaced it. Heat at last.

Heater Blower Failed On Motorhome

The heater blower failed on our motorhome one cold night and looking on leisure shops website the next day found on their blogs that it was most likely the fan control switch. I took a chance and ordered one which arrived the next day and fitted it to our trumavent heater after looking at diagram on the site and low and behold it worked immediately. I suggest anyone with any truma problems to look on the site before booking into a dealer. Many thanks

Our Trumavent blower developed a 12volt problem and was blowing its 5 amp fuse everytime we went to use it until it got to the point it was blowing the fuse even with the switch in the off position, Ordered a new switch as it was the cheapest on the net I could find, it was delivered within 2 days, fitting was simple, didn't even have to remove the fire front. sorted the problem and now we have the blower working again, Great service by Leisureshopdirect as usual.

Had a problem with the caravan heater not switching on properly. Staff knew immediately that it was a Trumavent Fan Control Switch that I needed and it arrived within 48 hours. Fitting it was easy and took less than five minutes. Truma heater now working perfectly. Was quoted over £100 by a local caravan repair shop to fix the problem - solved for £26.22! (cost of part). Will definately buy from this company again.

I ordered one of these to try and sort out the fan not operating at anything other than the slowest speed. Very easy to fit once the fire front has been removed. Unfortunately the problem continues so back to the drawing board.......

Prompt delivery, easy to fit, solved the problem that the fan only ran to manual settings, not auto. One piece of track burnt out on the PCB. Too lazy to fix it and not sure of the implications to the electronics if I mucked it up. All works fine now.

Item despatched very promptly. Kept well informed of delivery progress. This switch has now solved the problem of an uncertain connection which would only work occasionally because one of the metal pins was cracked in the switch supplied with the caravan when new.

This product seems to be the high quality that I expected and was it easy to replace the old one which had broken probably due to misuse. So far it seems to be working perfectly and I have no reason to suspect that it's performance will continue to be excellent in the future.
