1 FAQ on the Rubber seal for Trumatic S3002/S3004 Chimney

I have a lunar lexon, there is damp around the gas vent inside the wardrobe, it is spreading through to the bedroom area, how do we deal with this and seal it ?
You will need to remove the gas vent and re-seal it. There is a large nut inside which will need to be un-done to remove the flue terminal. Also, the metal flue is normally attached to the terminal with a screw through the wall of the pipe.
The rubber seal is our part 141374.

Just The Thing

The old seal was cracked and leaking. New one arrived swiftly and was a perfect fit. Simple to replace, a fifteen minute job from start to finish. Apparently the manufacturers say no sealant necessary but I erred on the side of caution and used sikaflex 512.
