Caravan shows 'beneficial to first-time buyers'

Posted by Freddy Morton

First-time motorhome buyers who may be looking for a model equipped with a Carver caravan water heater should go to an industry show, according to one expert in the field.

The Caravan Channel, a television show for the caravan and motorhoming community, suggested that a roadshow could provide many benefits to those who are looking for campervan tools and accessories but are less familiar with the business.

Mike Buttigieg, executive producer of the channel, said: "Apart from giving visitors the chance to see all the newest caravans and accessories, it also puts them in touch with real expertise from the people on the stands."

He added that such shows give prospective buyers a chance to look and ask important questions before making a purchase.

Manchester's January Caravan and Motorhome Show is a useful one to begin the year, while the Boat and Caravan Show at the Birmingham NEC in February is also deemed one of the industry's best, Mr Buttigieg commented.

The Manchester show takes place from January 19th to 22nd at the EventCity exhibition space.
