Door retainer to replace a broken one. My version bought does not have the springs in the picture but so far works better than that version I replaced. Arrived promptly and easy to fit.

Bought this viva white door retainer as our old one had disintegrated (10 year old van). It works well and I can use it easily, whereas I was having trouble getting the old one to release. Happy with the price too.

over the years I have used this product as and when door retainers needed replacing and have found then to be one of the best at a reasonable price. Alas my local hardware store supplier closed down(retirement) and after trawling on google have found another excellent supplier whom I hope to continue purchasing from

I fitted these Door retainers to the french doors at home , they were perfect.
They are very strong , and they stand off the wall enough to clear the door handles.
They are easy to fit , however I did use slightly bigger raw plugs an screws to secure to the wall rather than those provided. They have sufficient grip to hold the doors in wind , whilst still being easy enough to lock in and out.

Good strong catch. Much stronger than previous Vanetta type retainer without springs.
