As with previous orders, an excellent service from this company. After ordering, I realised that I had a voucher and so emailed them asking how I could use the voucher. They helped me cancel the original order, reorder using the voucher and then refunded VAT (I live in Jersey). Cost of p&p also extremely reasonable. Very helpful, prompt and friendly service.

The price and delivery was excellent after the xmas break, the cassette was leaking however now it does not, 30minute job max, enough said really not a pleasant job but essential

Thought it was time for a service and clean up for the cassette.
Watched a few videos on how to change the seals, seems straightforward.
New seal and blade after I soaked the cassette over night.
Good as new and cheaper than replacing the cassette.
Thetford parts and chemicals used, all came apart as per the video and went back together perfectly.

I ordered this seal from Leisure Shop Direct and it was delivered 2 days later, very impressed with the speed of delivery. I fitted it in about half an hour followed the very accurate instructions and it did the job perfectly and cured the leaky toilet cassette. Slightly on the pricey side, but it is a genuine Thetford part.

As other reviewers have said, the seal seems to be pricey for what it is. Not the most pleasant job as the valve mechanism needs to be dismantled on the Thetford C500 series of toilets after first removing the complete valve unit from the holding tank. I put a smear of Vaseline on the new seal. which has completely cured the effluent leak.

Prompt delivery. Instructions ok but be careful to note loose washers falling out (so you know where to put them back) and the slot location of the flapper/flapper arm. Seal all fitted now and works well.

Easy to fit though photographs in explicit instructions could be more helpful - when everything is black, it is difficult to distinguish between parts. Also, it was very difficult to swivel the assembly to remove - you need more leverage than the lid provides, a piece of wood worked perfectly. Delivery was very quick.

As usual superb service by leisureshopdirect. The seal arrived within the period one would expect for delivery. Other reviewers of this item did note that the item is easy to fit by following the instructions that come with the seal. The only problem I found with the C250 model, it was very difficult to unscrew the plate by the method described so I eventually had to use a rubber mallet to knock the half entered slide so releasing the screw eventually. Otherwise an easy operation for a competent person. Fitted like a glove and genuine Thetford seal.

I used this 23721 cassette lip seal seal successfully for a 6 year old C250 toilet that had started leaking from the bowl to tank joint. The instruction sheet was clear, but since you have to delve into the innards of the tank I suggest you give it a good clean first ! You will also need a spray can of thetford seal lubricant. The removable circular panel on the top of the tank can be pretty tight to turn - a piece of hardwood of the right width gave more leverage than the suggested method of using the plastic closure flap.

Exactly as it said it would do. Easy to fit by following the enclosed instruction sheet, but, as expected, a rather messy job and needed protective gloves due to the cassette tank earlier contents. Used the lubricant seal as recommended when re-assembling and that made the job so much easier
