The Vango Magra Air awning is designed to perfectly fit VW campervans and conversions. The colour schemes have been selected to suit the best VW selling colours so it will compliment your VW perfectly.

The Magra awning is designed for campervans and conversions. This inflatable drive away awning has a front and back entrance, so is ideal for left or right main van doors, allowing you to create the perfect set up on any campsite. With an eyebrow canopy at the front door, you can stay dry even if it's raining whilst a sweeping canopy at the rear is ideal for muddy boots or creating a social space at the back of your campervan. The Sentinel Sport Fabric has a small and lightweight pack size whilst still being durable. With a great size to weight ratio, the Magra air awning ensures you can spend the day walking, biking, surfing or just relaxing on the campsite and still have room in your campervan for every adventure.

What comes with the Vango Sport Magra AirBeam Awning?
The Vango Sport VW Camper awnings are very adapatble, as you can use any of 4 attachment methods. They have a pre-attached kador strip, roof bar attachments, a sleeve for pole and clamp method of attachment or the simple over vehicle webbing straps. And of course it comes with a double action pump, steel rock pegs and a mallet, a compact easy carry bag, Skyhooks for the ingenious SkyTrack system and a first aid repair kit. All the Vango extras you need for an exhilirating, fun, hassle free holiday!

Let's remind ourselves about Vango AirBeam technology.
It's important to not only tell you about the new innovations Vango have implemented, but also remind you of the market leading qualities installed in many of Vango's awning collection. So before we look at the Vango Magra driveaway awning in more detail, it’s essential to recap on Vango’s AirBeam technology, which is incorporated into these inspiring sport awnings. Vango’s AirBeam technology pledges you a super speedy pitching time, facilitating you to relish in your adventure straight away and make the most of the great outdoors. The AirBeams provide great vigour against the elements, giving structre and stability to the awnings. Unswerving in their obligation to performance, Vango continually analyses every awning module to ensure optimum performance and in 2015 the Vango AirSpeed Valve was introduced, which is an easy to attach valve which is located higher on the awning, making pump attachment much easier and convenient. Vango also presented their SuperBeams, which are a larger diameter beam to really enhance the stability and structure of the awnings (SuperBeams are 30% larger than normal AirBeams). The best ever adventure experience possible….Vango's aim is to make every inch of the outdoors your playground!

What state-of-the-art ideas are fitted into the Vango Magra Awning?
With an alloy poled canopy, the Magra has an exceedingly useful sheltered entrance into the awnings, preventing rain from dripping into the living area. They also have the ingenious SkyTrack System fitted as standard, which is an innovative attachment system that can be used to attach lighting, tidy cables or hang the useful Sky Storage pocket organisers. The SkyTrack system really helps you to stay tidy and organised when you are off adventuring. Skyliners come free with the Vango Sport driveaway awnings. Their function is to reduce condensation and provide a thermal barrier, especially essential if you are a sports fanatic and like to go away in the colder months. They also give the awnings a more home away from home feel and create the impression of a living room.

So what is different about Vango's Sentinel Sport Fabric?
The Vango Magra is made from Vango’s Sentinel Sport fabric, which is very light weight (weight of 105g/m2) whilst still mainatining optimum strength and comfort. It has an enviable space to weight ratio. With it's ultraviolet protection factor of 30+, it has the essential enhanced resistance to UV, giving you and your loved ones extra protection from the sun. Being waterproof it has fully taped seems, delivering waterthight seals and it's constitution means it can be easily cleaned. Sentinel Sport fabric also boasts Vango ColourLok technology which aids colour retention from UV light, making your awning look fab on the campsite for a lot longer. The Vango Sentinel Sport fabric is 200% stronger than the sentinel active fabric many other awnings are made from. Now you are aware the Vango Magra comes in this superior Sentinel Sport fabric, it is also worthy of note that you have a choice of colour for the awning- Moroccan Blue (with orange guy ropes and seams) or Shadow Grey (with red guy ropes and seams).

Does the Vango Magra also have a quick pitch set-up time?
Due to Vango’s fabulous AirBeam tsystems, the Vango Magra is very quick to put up, with a pitch time of 15 minutes, which will get less as you quickly become a pro at pitching it! Within half an hour of arriving at your favourite site, you could be sitting back, relaxing and watching campsite life pass you by! It has an AirSpeed valve system, allowing you to easily connect the provided pump. Along with bracer beams and the Vango TBS II system, this AirBeam awning gives a very rigid, robust structure, giving you the confidence to venture out, even in the more unpredictable weather. Again, the small pack size helps to combat the restricted storage space that you usually have in your van and the lightweight, but very durable material (the Sentinel Sport fabric discussed above), means the awning is robust, whilst still being easily transferred in and out of your van.

The Vango Magra has an attachment height to your vehicle from 180 to 195cm, meaning its perfect for VW vans or many conversions. However, you have a difficult decision to make…….will it be the Vango Magra Moroccan Blue Awning or the Shadow Grey that you will opt for?

What optional extras can you get for the Magra?
The Magra has the same optional extras to make your home away from home even better. The groundsheet protector is not essential as the Vango Magra has a groundsheet, but it is very useful to keep the underside of your awning safer and makes it much nicer to pack away as your awning groundsheet won't be covered in mud. Being a sports enthusiast may mean you pitch up on much rougher terrain. It really helps to prolong the life of your awning. A carpet has been specially made by Vango for the Magra and again it's not going to ruin your holiday if you dont have one, but surely enjoying a cosy feel underfoot makes it a must have! If you are keen on privacy and like to have a room inside the awning for getting changed or hiding all the sports gear and camping clutter, then a sports awning bedroom or the freestanding Vango bedroom may be a good buy for you. Alternatively, as the names suggests, you may have a bigger family or intend for freinds to come to stay and need an extra sleeping area.
