This Dometic Midi Heki Style is an advanced version of Dometic's mid-sized roof windows. It features a newly designed dome with double acrylic glazing for enhanced insulation and better visual integration. With its improved design, the Midi Heki Style is both easier to clean and generates up to 20 % (3 dB) less noise thanks to improved aerodynamics. An inner frame with separately adjustable darkening blind and fly screen conveniently keep sunlight and insects out of the vehicle. This advanced Midi Heki Style is available with crank or lever operation, with or without forced ventilation.

DESIGNED IN DETAIL
The Midi Heki Style is a real highlight even just to look at from the outside: The elegant roof dome with its hidden outer frame looks good on the roof of every vehicle. Midi Heki Style proves itself a "problem solver" for longitudinal installation situations, bringing light and air into the space below. Of course, it also boasts all the convenience features from the Dometic Midi Heki series: designer inner frame with variably adjustable darkening and fly screen, simple operation by crank, double acrylic glass glazing.

SIMPLE CRANK OR LEVER OPERATION
The dome can be opened or closed by crank with a very smooth and quality action. The more popular is the simple lever version to open and close dome.

What's the difference between with or without fixed ventilation?
Without Fixed Ventilation
This means when the Dometic Mini Heki Style is closed it is completely sealed. There is no ventilation. This is the best option for a motorhome. If a motorhome owner decided to fit a "with fixed ventilation" rooflight, the air would flow through the ventilation gap whilst driving and likely cause a wind noise or whistling. This obviously doesn't matter in a caravan!

With Fixed Ventilation
When the rooflight is completely closed there is still a small amount of ventilation. This helps prevent damp and is the option that should be used in caravans.

Do I need an installation kit?
The Dometic Midi Heki comes with an installation kit for a roof thickness of 30mm - 34mm. If your roof thickness is more or less than this size you will require an extra kit. Please see below:

Fitting An Heki

This was a replacement for one already fitted on my caravan, so the fitting after old one removed was quite straightforward, cleaning old sealants of the roof was a messy and time consuming, once cleaned and new sealant applied the rest of fitting was straightforward. The whole job fairly easy.

Bit of delay arriving due to Covid restrictions but they kept me informed throughout and Rooflight was easy to fix with instructions that were included and I am no DIY expert

Fast service and delivery. Only negative was the absence of the promised communication from DPD of the one hour slot. DPD let me down badly on my last purchase from another supplier. Suggest you change carriers.
