History of Caravan Covers

The question of covering your caravan for the Winter has been a huge hot topic for a long time. Damages caused to both caravans and motor homes, as well as the reputations from the companies that manufacture the modern generation covers stems from the old-style tarpaulin covers. A typical conception of any caravan cover is a bulky, plastic affair. The reputation of such covers is rightly bad. Which Cover?

Caravan covers come in a huge variety of designs and composition. They come either fitted or non fitted. The fitted covers are made to measure for your caravan, allowing access to your van while the cover is in place by fitted doors. These are obviously substantially more expensive that the non fitted variety. They usually have better warranties for the material, but at a price!

The non fitted variety come in a standard shape and are broken down into different lengths.
