Get drunk on culture in Dublin, says tourist board

Posted by Greg Throughton

People with Smev caravan cookers & hobs may want to consider Dublin for their next getaway.

Ireland's tourism board has said that Dublin offers better value for money than ever before.

Charlene Boyle, a spokeswoman for Tourism Ireland, said that the city has a huge amount to offer caravanners, from the National Museums to the residence of the President of Ireland and, for nature lovers, the National Botanic Garden and Phoenix Park are definitely worth a visit.

But owners of Smev caravan cookers & hobs who want to get 'under the skin' of the city may want to explore the grand literary history of the place.

"Whether you would like to get an in depth knowledge of the prominent literary figures at the Dublin Writers Museum or would feel more comfortable learning about these great men over a pint on the literary pub crawl, you won't be disappointed," Ms Boyle added.

Entry to both the National Museum and the National Gallery is free.
