Half of Brits take mum on holiday

As Mothers' Day (April 3rd) is fast approaching, many owners of Reich caravan taps will be taking their loved ones on holiday.


A study by comparison site Confused.com revealed that half of people have taken their mother on a break with them and 85 per cent of them would do so again in the future.


People going caravanning with their mother or mother-in-law are likely to have a nice time, as 53 per cent of people who had done so in the past claimed she was excellent company and 50 per cent agreed that she deserved a treat.


Women are more likely than men to take there mums away with them, but the guys are more inclined to let their mothers pay for things or babysit the kids.


"It is surprising and heart-warming to discover that so many men and women like taking their mums on holiday with them," said Kate Rose, head of holidays and travel at the comparison site.


A spa day, afternoon tea and chocolates are other firm favourites for people wishing to treat their mums this weekend.
