Harrogate offers an 'eclectic mix' for caravanners

Posted by Linda Davidson

Harrogate has an eclectic mix of things to see and do for caravan rooflights owners looking to book a break in Yorkshire, one expert has suggested.

The historic town has everything that visitors would expect from a spa town, a representative of the Harrogate Tourism Team said, as well as some very modern attractions to keep the whole family entertained.

He continued: "[It's] charm is irresistible. Experience some of Harrogate's spa heritage and enjoy a traditional spa therapy at the Turkish Baths."

The expert also recommended that caravanners sample the town's cafe culture, as well as its fantastic shopping opportunities and outdoor areas, which may appeal to Stoves caravan hobs and cookers owners.

It was recently revealed that there are plenty of half-term activities on offer in nearby York for caravanners to take in.

The year-round programme of festivals and events means that visitors staying for just a week would only scratch the surface of what there is to see and do in the fantastic city, according to Gillian Cruddas, chief executive of Visit York.
