Prices to stay the same over royal wedding period

Posted by Freddy Morton

Caravan rooflights owners looking to take advantage of the long weekend afforded to them by the royal wedding will be delighted to hear that Park Holidays UK has announced that it will not increase fees over the period.

Tony Clish, group director, told the Loughborough Echo that the company will not hike its prices on and around April 29th, the date of the wedding.

Speaking to the newspaper, he said: "Our original prices stand and we're going full tilt for a fantastic atmosphere of celebration across all of our parks.

"The royal wedding day is one which everyone will remember for the rest of their lives, and we'll be doing everything possible to put our guests in the party spirit."

The announcement from Park Holidays UK will be welcomed by caravan rooflights owners after fears were raised that some holiday companies would increase prices over the long weekend to profit from people taking advantage of an extra day off work.

It was recently announced that a second royal wedding will take place in the near future as Zara Phillips revealed her engagement to England rugby star Mike Tindall.
