Hartal FW Type Barrel Lock

by G. Williams (25 May 2019)
5 star review(5/5)
The new lock arrived in good order and time.
The existing lock was seized up (damaged tumbler) The lock would not release from the sleeve, had to knock the tang to force the release clip.
The new lock slid into the sleeve quite easy but the locking clip took some manipulating before it engaged, although some Vaseline was used.
As a Swift caravan owner it would be very useful if a set of instructions of how to remove and assemble an FW type Hartal barrel lock was included with the new lock.

Hartal Replacement Swift Door Lock Barrel

by Mr Bonner (11 Jul 2013)
5 star review(5/5)
Lock barrel on my 2007 Swift jammed, a tumbler had broken. The replacement barrel took about 30 minutes to fit and was fairly straight forward BUT you will need the Hartal 'removal' key to get the old barrel out.
