Ordered part. Which was lucky as truma didn’t answer any emails. Bit pricey , but it worked as soon as I replaced it.

Heater Blower Failed On Motorhome

The heater blower failed on our motorhome one cold night and looking on leisure shops website the next day found on their blogs that it was most likely the fan control switch. I took a chance and ordered one which arrived the next day and fitted it to our trumavent heater after looking at diagram on the site and low and behold it worked immediately. I suggest anyone with any truma problems to look on the site before booking into a dealer. Many thanks

Our Trumavent blower developed a 12volt problem and was blowing its 5 amp fuse everytime we went to use it until it got to the point it was blowing the fuse even with the switch in the off position, Ordered a new switch as it was the cheapest on the net I could find, it was delivered within 2 days, fitting was simple, didn't even have to remove the fire front. sorted the problem and now we have the blower working again, Great service by Leisureshopdirect as usual.

Had a problem with the caravan heater not switching on properly. Staff knew immediately that it was a Trumavent Fan Control Switch that I needed and it arrived within 48 hours.
Fitting it was easy and took less than five minutes. Truma heater now working perfectly. Was quoted over £100 by a local caravan repair shop to fix the problem - solved for £26.22! (cost of part).
Will definately buy from this company again.

I ordered one of these to try and sort out the fan not operating at anything other than the slowest speed. Very easy to fit once the fire front has been removed. Unfortunately the problem continues so back to the drawing board.......

"Truma Control Knob" (actually an assembly including printed circuit board for the control of the heater's fan speed) - delivered on second morning after ordering in the evening - fitting it a doddle - back in control!

Prompt delivery, easy to fit, solved the problem that the fan only ran to manual settings, not auto. One piece of track burnt out on the PCB. Too lazy to fix it and not sure of the implications to the electronics if I mucked it up. All works fine now.

<br />Item despatched very promptly. Kept well informed of delivery progress. This switch has now solved the problem of an uncertain connection which would only work occasionally because one of the metal pins was cracked in the switch supplied with the caravan when new.

This product seems to be the high quality that I expected and was it easy to replace the old one which had broken probably due to misuse. So far it seems to be working perfectly and I have no reason to suspect that it's performance will continue to be excellent in the future.
