I am installing an LED awning light to my motorhome, and was wondering where to take the power source from , the 12v consumer unit or the control panel , or from somewhere completely different ? Many Thanks Stevie

Answer

You would normally break into the 12 volt lighting circuit and feed the awning light from there. It is difficult to advise details without having the wiring diagram for the vehicle.
