Hi I have a thetford c200 cw/cwe toilet and the pump will not stop running how do I fix this.

It appears the the push button has gone 'short circuit' and will need replacing. Our ref. 237090

Hi, i Have a Thetford 200CWE In My Elddis Crusader 2008, 1st Changed The Switch Just 6 Months Ago Due To It Not Working At All. That Sorted a Few Weeks Ago The Flush Was Intermittent And Slow/Reduced Water Flow, The Old Pump Was Removed And a New Pump Fitted But When The Switch Is Activated There Is Nothing Only The Click Of The Switch. The Pump Does Not Run. There Is Current To The Wiring To The Pump And To The Switch, The Fuse Is Good, And The Battery Shows That It Is Ok And Charging Well. The Pump Has Been Tested On a 12v Battery And It Whizzed Round, Could You Throw Any Light On This Pls. It Seams To Make No Sense As All Was Ok All But Sluggish Then As Soon As The Wiring Was Cut To Attach New Pump It Wont Work. Is There Something i'm Missing ?? Help ....... :-)

I Think That The First Thing To Do Is To By-Pass The Switch By Connecting Together The Two Wires Leading To The Switch. If The Pump Runs Then You Have a Faulty Switch And I Would Suggest Replacing This With The Updated Version, Our Ref. 237090.

I Am Puzzled. I Have a Thetford C200CWE I Have Checked The Switch Part Number 23792 And Discovered It To Be Faulty. There Seems To Be Another Part 23771 Which Appears To Be a Replacement Bezel Which Seems To Includes The Switch Listed At a Lower Price??? Which One Should I Be Looking At. ???

The Bezel, Part 23771, Our Ref. 237090 Does Include The Switch And You Have Correctly Identified That The Price Is Lower Than The Separate Switch Unit. Part 237090 Is The Obvious Choice.

My Thetford Cassette Toilet C200CWE has just stop working. i can hear the click when i press the button on the toilet but it just stop flushing. i have open the cassette toilet door checked the fuse which is good, well tried to check the wiring. i cant seems to see the problem but it will not flush. I don't know how you get to the pump or even the water tank. can you please advise what i can do to check this out many thanks. Daryl

Either the switch is faulty or the pump is faulty. To access the pump you need to lift the blue button and undo the two screws underneath. Lift off the panel and undo a further two screws to lift out the pump. Check the continuity of the switch and if this is OK then you will need to apply 12 volts directly to the pump to check if it is faulty.

Toilet Electric Flush Will Not Work On a C200cwe

If you have checked the fuses it is likely that the electric pump has failed and will need to be replaced. Remove the blue operating button to access two screws. Remove the screws and lift the assembly ( held only by mastic ) to access the switch and pump. Before changing the pump make sure that you have continuity through the switch when depressed. If no continuity then the switch may be at fault. If you do have continuity then replace the pump. Replacement pump is our part 229418.

Does exactly as you would expect although the button only comes with about 2" of wire, so don't cut any off when you remove the old one. Also, Thetford have supplied a strip of gooey grey sealer to replace the original gooey grey sealer (what a mess) so just beware.

Comes with all components required including mastic sealant for re-securing into place on the pegs. You will need 2 x red crimps to re-attach to the main wires in the toilet body. The wires are very thin so recommend stripping off a bit more insulation, bending over on themselves to get best grip possible in crimps.

Great Item and a great price compared to the old switch unit. The installation was so easy just remove the old one (you just carefully ease it out with a blunt wide blade knife no screws) then cut the two wires and connect them to the new one. I found the best way was to use small block connectors put the new putty round the edge and replace the unit. Simple the only thing I would like to see in the kit was the small block connectors.
