Who says you can’t enjoy culinary cooking in your camper, caravan or holiday home? With well designed hobs, ovens, grills and sinks from Thetford, you can! The The Thetford Topline 981 is designed to be as home like as possible. We use the highest quality materials and thoroughly test each appliance to ensure its ultimate safety – and your satisfaction.

For many years, there has been cooking appliances made for the RV market which offer cooking by dual fuel. This combination is mostly gas and mains electric (by solid hotplate). Thetford brings a new level in this duo by introducing the Topline 98 Hybrid series, combining induction and gas cooking. The Topline 98 Hybrid series offers the combination of one induction hob and two gas burners, available in two different glass shapes. Being part of the Topline cooking range, it is made of the highest quality of Schott Ceran black glass, which is both appealing and easy to clean.

Best of both worlds
Induction offers fast cooking, saving time to do other things during your holidays; gas cooking allows you to cook wherever you are, giving you maximum flexibility.

Of course you can also use both induction and gas at the same time, if you have the mains electric connection and gas available. At maximum power, the induction hob requires up to 7A which is nowadays available at almost all campsites throughout Europe. Cooking whenever and wherever you like!

Efficient and convenient
The induction hob warms up quickly, especially with the Automatic Heat Up Function. Induction is also very efficient, converting 90% of supplied power into cooking energy. Therefore almost all heat is used to heat up the pan instead of the glass top. Its also a benefit for the environment too!

Safety first
By heating only the pan, induction cooking also brings you safety, as the glass surface doesn’t get excessively hot and won’t remain warm for long. If the surface is hot, the residual heat will be indicated by the LED sign above the control knob. And if you want to restrict all functions, the built in Child Safety Lock can be easily activated and deactivated.

The design of the hob is determined by the shape of the glass and the positioning of the cooking pans. Both shapes offer a compact yet ergonomic and practical layout, facilitating easy cooking. As you may expect from Thetford the appliances are made of the best quality and come with a 3-year warranty.

What is the maximum pan size?
Please use the correct recommended sizes of pans and position them centrally over the burners. Do not allow cooking vessels to overlap the edges of the appliance. Please refer to your user manual.
How do I identify my appliance?

What happens if the oven/grill doesn't work?
If burner has not lit within 15 seconds, release knob and wait at least 1 minute before repeating operation. If it still fails to ignite, contact your dealer.
What can I do when the bump-stop is melting?

Why do I need to keep the door open for grilling?
The grill burner works efficiently with the correct circulation of gas and ambient air. Closing the door prevents the circulation of this air and can result in dangerous products of combustion.
What are the requirements for installing the cooker?
The cooker should be installaed as per the manufactures recommended installation instructions and should only be installed by competent qualified persons. Local laws should be adhered to when installing gas appliances.
Why do the knobs fall off?
There may be a flat metal retaining clip that has broken from the knob. Please contact your dealer who can replace under warranty or supply this if the appliance is outside the 3 year warranty.
What type of gas do I need?
The appliance is manufactured to be used with LPG at the correct operating pressure as outlined on your data label.
What can I do when the flame goes off after igniting the oven?
If the burner has not lit within 15 seconds, release the knob and wait at least 1 minute before repeating the operation. If it still fails to ignite contact your dealer.
Why is the cooking appliance too hot to touch?
The appliance is manufactured to heat food and as a result certain areas will become hot. Touchable surfaces like knobs and handles should remain within a safe touchable temperature. If you are concerned about these temperatures, please contact your dealer who can measure the temperatures to ensure they are correct.
My grill doesn't appear to light in the middle.
It shouldn’t. This is the design to promote even cooking.
My grill pan handle gets hot, what can I do?
The handle is detachable. It should be removed whilst the grill is in use.
Can I change my current pan rests into cast iron pan rests?
We do not recommend modifying the appliance in anyway this includes changing the pan rests and shelves.
Is it possible to make my burners more powerful?
We do not recommend modifying the appliance in anyway.

How can I clean my cooking appliance (stainless Steel)?
Always remove any spills or contamination immediately after use with soap and hot water. Towel dry the surface with a soft cloth. Use a non-abrasive multi-purpose cream cleaner and a nylon scourer pad to clean more stubborn dirt or grease. Use a proprietary stainless steel cleaner or polish to remove superficial surface scratching.
How can I clean my cooking appliance (the glass (lid))?
