Thetford Service Doors 3, 4,5 and 6 Mine is one of the above type and the lock appears to work and the door appears to be securely locked once the key is turned and removed . However if the top button is pressed the door springs open. Can you advise what the problem is.

Check the strike plates on the frame haven't been damaged because if these are forced at any time they can crack and then the door will not operate correctly. If there is damage to these strike plates then you will have to replace the door and frame.
