We have Abbey Vogue 520 caravan. When we use gas fridge the carbon monoxide fumes blow back into the caravan and set off the alarm. Is this a fault with the flue or just caused by the wind. Annie

Answer

The CO fumes should on no account blow back into the caravan. The Thetford fridge should be sealed around all edges to prevent this. If the fridge has been removed from the caravan at some stage it appears likely that it has been re-installed without the correct seals in place. You should take the caravan to your closest Approved Workshop.
