Q - Can you still get the wall switch for the Carver Cascade 2 water heater? A - The older wall switch with three lights is no longer available. The Wall switch Cascade Rapide can be used instead, but the cable leading to the water heater needs Molex connections at both ends. If you have DIN connections on your cable ( round terminals) you will need to purchase the Wiring loom with Molex connectors. You should have DIN and Molex connections on the burner module in the water heater.

Q - I have a leak from my carver casade water heater. What is the most likely cause? A - The leak is most likely coming from the cold water inlet fitting (bottom right when looking at the rear of the heater) or the hot water outlet (top right when looking at the rear of the heater). These fittings tend to become brittle with age and crack near the screw thread. If the fitting snaps off when you try to remove it, it will be necessary to carefully cut the piece left in the body in four positions with a fine hack-saw being sure not to damage the face of the heater body. Chip out the pieces of the fitting with a small screw driver.

Q - When I put my Truma Ultrastore water heater onto gas it cuts out after a few seconds. A - The most common reason for this is failure to remove the flue cover from the outside of the vehicle. This causes a lack of air for combustion.
