I have bought the medium size cover for a for fiesta. The cover fits well being secured using 2 straps which go under the car. The fit at the back of the car was not as secured as I would like, simply added 2 cloths pegs to secure to the back bumper.

I don't think i would agree this cover is waterproof. It well made, fits the vehicle very well and keeps dirt, dust and the elements off the vehicle. When the cover is removed the car is clean. That is good enough for me. Would recommend.

Excellent product - couldn't have been happier and I don't see how any of the more expensive covers could improve on this one. It has two straps for under the car and loop at the back which I tie to the tow bar. It stayed on even in the high winds we have had this summer no problem. It does let some minor dust which leaves some marks on the shine but nothing to make you have to wash the car again. Does the job really well and an excellent price.

This breathable cover is excellent quality and super value for money. Definitely shower proof but the material is not waterproof. Bought for my Audi A4 Convertible and it keeps my roof bird proof/ algae proof!!! Comes fitted with two excellent strong straps and clips.

I had an issue with the package when it arrived as it was damaged by water. The box the item was in was mould ridden and the smell was awful. The actual item itself, being a waterproof item, seemed okay but also smelt of damp and rot.
I contacted the seller who got back quickly but rather than believe there was a problem asked for photographic proof. Once this was provided they offered a full refund stating they had had issues with some stock being waterlogged which shouldn’t have been sold.
Clearly there is an issue and the cynic in me things they shipped it hoping there would be no complaint but I will give them the benefit of the doubt and put it down to human error which they have promised will be resolved with a full refund.
The product itself is as described. I bought the small for a Toyota Yaris and it is a snug fit. There are straps to keep it tied to the car in bad weather and the material seems robust and fit for purpose.

this car cover said on the box that it was not waterproof, which is probably true but it is showerproof as when i removed it all the water that had collected on the top of the car , ran off and all over me. i found it a bit cumbersome to put on and the straps that fasten underneath a waste of time with constant use, however it does the job i bought it for and i would recommend it to friends.

Needed one quickly, and price was exceptional. Thought, well if only get 6months will have done ok. Not so, This cover is far better than previous ones that have cost £60+. It goes over my Jaguar X series perfectly and totally. The elastic is superior to any others and it even has a bit on the back that we were able to tie of on the tow bar. Very impressed with this cover. The price is exceptional for how good it is. Will probably purchase a spare. Highly recommend. Arrived in a day and a half.

Used on my Lotus Elise. It’s a bit big really, but it means that it’s covered all the way down to the floor. I wouldn’t use it outside, it’s not fitted enough and would get ripped off in the wind. Seems a good product for the price.

But it is definitely not for BMW 5 Series GT and I have ordered XL size. I am keeping it coz I don't know if a cover exists for a GT anyway.
Suggestion: Can do better with cover securing mechanism under the car. Putting dirt on hands and knees is not very convenient. There you go a need for some R&D, guys!

This is the second one of these that i have purchased, the 1st one lasted a couple of years, as advertised it is a breathable car cover, keeps the weather & elements off of your car, so is ideal to use in a garage or outside to protect from tree sap, bird droppings etc, i use mine to keep my windscreen from icing up on early morning starts also protecting my convertible roof.

I only needed a temporary cover for my car during some house renovation works so a sheet of thin plastic material was placed over the car before the cover was applied...that worked a treat but would not be wise to do over a longer period due to condensation issues.

Great Indoors Dust Cover - Likely Not Good Outdoors

I used this cover to prevent a huge amount of dust clinging to the car and it has done the job well, I'm dreading cleaning the cover however as the dust is pretty intense. Since it's indoors I don't have the issue of it blowing off, however I did take the cover out for a good shake down of the dust and it captured the wind very intensely as if it was a large kite or parachute. I can imagine it blowing away during heavier wind conditions.
People do say that there are limited tying facilities and I do agree with only a few pieces of string provided, it would be nice to have more inbuilt strings.
I did have to look up the sizing to make sure I got it correct, someone put up a very helpful review and it worked out perfectly for me.
Overall quite satisfied, but I've rated it down as I would never risk using this outdoors.

Very happy with this car cover it fits very well to my car Mercedes CLS 2007. Putting it on the car on the other hand is not easy but thats due to me and my height :P Protects against dust, bird poop and all other tree seeds/sap flying around in summer. It is also good in rain. I would suggest though that the rope supplied to tie under the car from one side to the other to be used as strong winds can lift the front off sometimes. However that could be just the fit to my car.

I have had to store my car (classic car) for 10 years outside, during that time i have had 5 cheap covers and one expensive product fleece £70 /£80 lined heavyduty ...
NOW all of the cheaper £12 to £15 five from online and Lidel, blow off the car in winter, All of them, they only last 18/24 months and leak through in heavy rain. I fit a cheap one over the expensive one and tie it down with a nylon clothes line, it works well and the car gets just a little damp around the corners. SO replace every couple of years and tie down, or fork out for a quality product, that will give you 5 years.....then cover with cheap top cover....

Pretty good. It's not completely waterproof and doesn't cope too well when there's really heavy rain, but it still does a great job overall for the price.
I used mine to cover up a newt valeted and polished black Skoda superb estate, a pretty big car. After the cover had been on for a month the car looked almost as good as it had before covering it. Just a few watermarks where some rain had soaked through.
Why 4 stars instead of 5? The string that comes with it to tie it down is useless. It barely reaches from one side of the car to the other. And certainly left little room to tie it to the loop and secure it. And before you think "that's a large car so it's to be expected", I bought the extra large cover for this size of car so the string should be longer.
I used some thin rope that I had. Worked much better.
Do take note that when it gets windy, the cover can be blown over the back/front of the vehicle as it's only tied on in the middle. I found it best to tie one side with rope, pass the rope under the car and fully over the top and back under the car and then secure it to the other side of the cover. It stayed put after that.
To be 5 star, it needs tie down holes at both ends as well as the side holes, and to come with adequate rope.
But I've no regrets about buying it, and I would buy another. Think I paid £23ish and it's a good buy for the money.

I have a few of these for different cars. They are not waterproof, they are not dust proof but if you want something to keep the worst of rubbish off your car whether it is bird poo or pollen they do that. Just buy the right size (XL is perfect for an Audi A6). I secure mine with bungees through the two hooking eyes and so far not lost one yet!

This car cover is pretty good value for money, and was delivered promptly. If you need a basic car cover then this is ideal.
I have got no qualms at all about the quality of its construction, nor its dimensions or ability to fit over a vehicle. Basically it does what it says on the tin and is I believe just as advertised.
The sole reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because I think the means of keeping it held securely to a car once it's in place is a bit inadequate, and it would hugely benefit from having better means of fastening from one side of the car to the other, underneath the car. In a windy location it can be the difference between something that's spot on, or something that is potentially insecure, or can be a slight noise nuisance.
It's certainly not a big issue and I'm basically happy with it, hence 4 stars, since I'm sure if you spend more money you can probably get ones that can be made more secure, without needing to add your own bunjee ropes etc.
One very important thing to note (which is made clear on the packaging, but which people might overlook), is that this cover is NOT waterproof, but is water resistant, so if you need a cover that will always keep your car bone dry then this is NOT suitable. I'm certainly not criticising the product for this because it states exactly this on the box, but it's worth reiterating. When it's rained quite a bit I can see the cover clings in places to my car body due to damp that has penetrated through the cover, and for some people this will be a big no-no, if for instance you're trying to prevent rust on a vehicle that might be prone to it.

the breathable type covers are much stronger material but are not waterproof ,
I 've a 1965 classic mercedes which has to live outside in all weathers
I made my own customised waterproof breathable cover by purchasing 2 maypole breathables and 1 single waterproof universal tarpaulin (just big enough to cover topside of car
I place them on one at a time with the waterproof one sandwhiched between the breathables
result ..the merc has remained uv protected, bone dry and condensation free for the past three years!
top tip.. I tuck the covers into the wheel arches & behind the wheels so the whole lot stay in place when windy
small outlay to match a cover costing 5 times as much!!

Really good quality and much better than other car covers we have purchased in the past. The breathable lining actually makes it less likely to fly away with the wind, additionally there are elasticated ends that hold it in place.

Read reviews on this and really not sure that this was going to be suitable and not sure that the size was right but was very surprised I ordered a large it fitted very well to my Jaguar XJS, the only thing I would say is it could do with another 2 eyelets to tie down but on saying that we have had some bad weather and the cover has not moved.

We've been using this for a few months now a highly modified car that's stored in an open backed car port and it beats both the other covers we've used before. Good quality, does the job very well & hasn't moved in all the high winds we've been having. We bought a size larger than we thought we''d need and think this is why it works so well. I bought this as I park under a tree at home and the sap was costantly making a mess of my car! I have a 2016 Nissan Qashqai and it fits perfectly. As the edges are elasticated It goes nicely under the edges of the car meaning you dont need to tie it and it doesn't come off. Only downside is when it's raining/rained, the cover is obviously wet and you cant put it in the boot or it starts to smell, so you need to dry it off somewhere. But hey, I'd rather deal with that every so often than have to wash my car every day because of the tree sap! Also comes with a nice bag to keep the cover in.

Very pleased with the quality and speed of arrival. Well packaged. The only problem I have is my car is not very big and the cover needs to have numerous pegs to hold it in position. The small size would have been too small that is why I settled for medium.

For a low cost car cover it is excellent. I use it internally only, but It appears to be of exactly the same quality and grade/thickness of another (much more expensive) cover bought for my other car. I would expect its outdoor performance to be of an equally high standard. Fit and size is perfect for my car, i.e. a rather aged classic sports car.

I was given to understand from the write up that this cover would be waterproof! Protects from rain etc, when the item came it states it is not waterproof. Not really what is needed, unsure to return or not. The product looks good, delivered on time. I was looking for a cover for my folding caravan. If you try buying one specifically for a caravan you are looking around the £80+ mark so I took a gamble on it and bought this first. It is not 100% waterproof which I thought it was but it bar a storm of epic proportions it will keep the folding camper dry. I had to secure it down with bungees but that is not the fault of the car cover. Saved me about £70 so thank you very much!

I got this to repel the torrents of pine tree sap, pine needles and bird crap.
It's easy enough to put on wihtout another pair of hands, though two poeple would make this easier to put on.
There are some holes for tying down, but not really anything included to do that properly.
I used this for a ford fiesta 1.4 mark 4 model, and it fits well.
This doesnt claim to be waterproof, and it isnt, but will repel particulates, debris and keep most of the grime off your car.

Sturdy, and water resistant. There are 2 holes to tie the cover, and one attached hook to connect to a car's ring (usually in the left side of front. So far it is very good protection against summer sun. Especially helpful as there are many pores to breathe.
It is important to keep the cover, so that the paint work can last longer, and also it prevents being scratched.
Where there is strong wind blows, additional rope can be used to tie the cover to the car.

Yeah nice and big and fits my Locost 7 Kitcar a treat ( so will easily fit a Caterham 7 ,Westerfield style car .
Just be mindful this one is slight shower proof and not fully waterproof so it will not be any real good in a massive downpour but ok in a shower .
of coursei t is ideal for dust and sun protection .

Really good cover its easy to put on the quality of meterial is good and it probably won't do no damage to the paintwork as its a good fit and doesn't flap about i bought this as a emergency cover as I could have it on next day delivery because I was let down by another seller on the cover I really wanted(sent a cheap alternative one instead) but this maypole cover served me an my car great. Only downside to this cover is the little thin string which is supplied with it,to tie up in the middle of the car. And if your buying this for the reason I did by stopping seagulls doing their business on your car ( ruining your paintwork ) it works but some/little does seeps through not enough to damage your car.if you were thinking of parking in a airport car park for two weeks or so you'll be fine with this cover

Prompt delivery. Good fit for my SLK (4.1mx1.8m). As advertised not waterproof but was purchased as lightweight travel cover to protect from bird droppings, over hanging branches etc. Obviously not as good as more expensive covers costing 10x but good for purpose and recommended.

I bought this to protect a Toyota Auris from the droppings of a flock of starlings that set up home nearby. It worked well but is a bit of a tight fit. The large size would probably be better for an Auris, and would be likely to stay on better in the wind.

My son's Chevrolet Matiz was getting plastered with bird droppings after a flock of starlings began nesting nearby. This soon paid for itself in saved car wash charges. At first it seemed a bit oversized, but that actually seems to help it stay on better in the wind as the elasticated edges of the cover pull themselves well under the car.

Good cover. Use it on my 2012 renault clio and it fits the car well. The elasticated corners make it hold on to the car when it is windy. Keeps all the bird crap and tree leaves away from my cars (especially from getting underneath the bonnet) as I park under a tree

The second cover purchased as pleased with the first which have had for at least a year this for 2nd vehicle. We ensure fixed well in the middle underneath with easy to remove strip/strap.We have a long thin piece of wood that we slot the strap to which makes passing the strap under the care simple. Overall stays put quite well unless storm type conditions. Protects the cars from the worst of the weather and the birds! Shower rain seems to sit on surface and dry off quickly. Find the material tougher than equivalent nylon plastic versions that perish and split quickly. Medium size fits MGBGT with plenty of room for the elastic edges to go under bumper wouldn't go smaller.

This was bought as a present for my husband who had treated himself to a different car. As the car was quite large, a Mercedes, the cover covered the car with room to spare. The quality of the material was extremely good and feels like it will last for some time. All in all, a very satisfactory purchase that I would strongly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic for winter and very very easy to use. It covers my Audi TT perfectly so I don't have to de-ice in the mornings. Doesn't get mouldy either as its breathable and so is the storage bag. Storage can be an issue when it is wet so I throw it into a Keter Garden box until I come home and dry it in the shower.

Bought this to cover a BMW 3 series saloon which is parked under a tree. I found within days of having it washed it would collect seeds, leaves and small twigs in the gaps between the bonnet and the gaps by the boot. Its not exactly a catastrophe but these leaves soon break down into bits which powder the car in dirt which is very difficult to clean. Power washers wont reach these areas the only way to protect the car is park it else where or get a cover. Three gueses what i chose to do.
This cover is made of a material similar to a very very thick kitchen towel (almost like a thick surface wiping cloth), as a results its not as flexible as id like but certainly repels water, animal droppings and leaves. It is elasticated to fit snug and has 2 O rings in the side and a small amount of string to secure it (not necessary for me). There is a white label at the front and a material loop at the rear for securing, i dont use these for anything other than knowing which way around it fits. Due to the thickness of the material id struggle to put it into the supplied bag so i simply scrunch it and stuff it in the boot (or leave it at home if im travelling away).
The box actually shows a 3 series bmw not the ford focus pictured, this size is ideal for a bmw 3 series, CLA, C Class, Audi A4 size of car i wouldnt trust it on anything larger.
So overall the supplied cable, O rings and material loop are in my opinion quite useless but the elastic and fit are tight enough to hold it in in place (my drive is covered but if your car is exposed it might blow off). For this price its perfectly adequate and keeps my nearly new car looking good as new.
Buy with confidence its perfectly adequate, bought one in medium for my wifes BMW 1 series as well and it fits perfectly fine. Very happy overall

I can't fault this product but do be aware that it is just a cover. It is not water proof and cannot be expected to provide any sort of protection from winter weather. That said it would provide an excellent 'base layer' beneath a heavy duty tarpaulin. The material is soft and does not scratch or damage paintwork (provided it is used on a clean car). It both looks and feels like a quality product and has exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sure how well it would fit my car (a Jaguar XJ6 that has the dimensions of a barge), but it fits like a glove and is also very easily and quickly fitted (less than 60 seconds on or off). It will provide protection from light frosts, snow and showers but if you leave it on during anything other than a light shower it will soon soak through and drying such a large piece won't be easy. Am also not sure how it would fare in a gale. Rather suspect that it wouldn't unless additional eyelets or some sort of overwrap (see previous comments about tarpaulin) were used. If you just want a cover, for use during garaged storage or outdoors in fine weather then I have no qualms about recommending this product but if you are looking for long term outdoor use do be aware of its limitations.

It does the job, good value for the price for what I want it to do, compared to some of the other ridiculously priced ones I found, keeps the dust off in the garage, (it wouldn't be much good for outside; unless you live in a part of the world where you only get a few days of rain a year; it's not waterproof) must be better than some of the others, that fortunately I had read the reviews, at least I haven't put my fingers through this one. Glad that I went for the medium one, whilst my two seater is not that big, and I do know its dimensions, but I did find it hard to find a true size of the cover before purchase, so I just guessed. That's what Engineers do.

Bought this for my Toyota MR2 Mark 2 because I can no longer keep it in the garage. Ordered the MEDIUM which fits perfectly for length. I anticipated an issue with the height of the vehicle but this was less of a problem than I thought. Yes, the cover sits at ground level - no clearance under the car in places but this doesn't seem to matter. It appears to have 'moulded' to the shape of the car after a week, though of course it's a looser fit than on standard saloons - so it is important to use the reinforced grommet holes and cord which are located in a central position on the sides of the cover - at the bottom. This stops the wind getting underneath it and blowing it away ! The elasticated corners fit well under the bumpers - but probably more loosely than on a saloon.
I have posted a photo of the MEDIUM cover on my Toyota MR2. I should look much the same on MGFs and those Honda S2000s - and cars of similar size.
I feel some of the reviews of this item are a little unfair. The characteristics of the material used are made clear in the advertising. It is 'breathable' for a reason. If it was watertight it would encourage rusting and rotting - a curse for soft-tops. I have found that it does all that is claimed - keeps the cr*p off the car - and after the rain, it dries out naturally.
All in all it is a well made cover and fantastic value at the present price - a very cheap solution to the many problems caused by outside storage.

A great bit of kit I would recommend to anyone, it fits my Citroen C4 like a glove. I must add though, you need somewhere to hang it to shake off excess rain or dew before leaving it to dry for a few hours as it does NOT soak up moisture. Couple that with a good delivery time and I'm well happy.

Awesome. I had a previous one which turned brittle in the sun and started to tear badly this year. This is almost like cloth, is definitely breathable and fits an estate car (Volvo V50) perfectly. Of course it will blow off if you don't have a garage! Der! It's more for protecting the paint against UV and tree/bird droppings or a dodgy garage or shelter. Under a car port (relatively sheltered) this is brilliant.
Although used a lot this has suddenly changed its composition and is literally falling apart in the sun, multiple tears and worn very thin. Will need to be replaced. Still, cheaper than a faded paint job!

The material feels very strong compared to similar priced cheap quality ones which tear easily, this is hard to tear and the elastic around the bottom is great. Bought to keep frost and ice off a 2007 Seat Leon and more than big enough with a generous fit to cover the whole car. Good quality breathable fabric and not just a thin sheet of polythene like some other cheaper alternatives. Cannot comment on how it copes in other weathers because it is only used when frost/no wind. My only gripe is that the type of fabric makes it very difficult to fold away afterwards and the storage bag is not really big enough. Also, you will need a garage or similar space to allow it to dry because there is no way it can be just put in the boot of the car after removal. It is just too bulky and would never dry out otherwise.

Delivered earlier than scheduled. Fitted straight onto car and used tie rope underneath middle of car to secure which was just as well because 2 days later we had high (50-60mph) winds, these took the cover off front of car but due tie rope it held over the rear with no damage! Has kept the car clean and dry through rain and frost so far. Well pleased with it. Next time high winds are forecast i will remove beforehand.

The quality was good for the money. Unfortunately it is a bit too short for our Zafira which is quite high. Fits great at the front but because of the height of the car it falls at least 2 feet short at the back. I don't know if the extra large would have been too big but once opened you would never pack it up small again. The string to tie under the chassis does not even reach the other aside of the car so had to be replaced. More ties would have been useful to secure the cover. It would be helpful if the company gave an idea of which size fits which models of vehicle as a guide.

Excellent cover and modified it with a bottom strap and pro gaffa tape to stop the body work being scratched.
The large cover fits my Nissan Juke very well and I have mastered putting it on and taking it off, even when it is very windy.
Stops all those nasty bird and insect poo from staining the car, as well as tree leaves and other nasties.
When it rains heavily there is some streaking to the bodywork beneath but a microfibre cloth quickly gets rid of it.
For the price it is a good deal and looks good on the driveway.

Bought this as we were leaving our soft top at my parents house, by the sea for 2 weeks. It certainly kept the car free from all that seagulls mess and cats sleeping on the roof. But I will say that I wouldnt use this cover if it was going to be on the car for a long time, but as a temporary measure for a couple of weeks at a time I would say it is ideal. We put an extra fastening on it just in case there was a heavy wind, no big deal.

I bought one of these for a 2009 VW Passat. It covers it but along comes a strong wind and off it comes. It needs clips or bungees or something to keep it in place if it is to be somewhere where the wind can blow under it.
When I first wrote this is was after the gales of last week (20th October 2014 or thereabouts.) Since then the cover has remained over my car and stayed put. I am not sure if it has a front and back end but I reversed it from it's previous state and it seems to fit better.
I still think it worth weighting it down somehow if there is a risk of a high wind though this may only apply to some cars. The our VW Passat is quite rounded under the front and rear so there it is fairly easy for the cover to slide up and thus off in windy conditions.
All-in-all I am pleased with this product.

I am delighted with this car cover. It fits my Lexus LS430 with ease and she's no mini. The quality of the material is very good. It's strong, thick and I can see it wearing well, though i only want it as a dust cover for use in my garage/workshop. I really don't see how one of the reviewers described it a plastic and no thicker than a carrier bag. And all for £21 including P&P BARGAIN!!

Was very stiff and torn very easily second 1 lasted 2 days before getting blown away even though it had been secured with extra straps complete waste of money.
This maypole cover appears to be of much better quality and is not flapping about in the wind, eyelets fitted to centre are reinforced and I have used bungy strap under car to help secure.
First impressions are very good and excellent value for money, hope this one survives the coming winter.

Well made product, very easy to put on - currently doing a good job protecting my daughter's car from the elements. No extreme weather to contend with so far - but it has remained in place during high winds. Only slight criticism would be that it would be useful if some sort of clip could be supplied to connect the nylon string that goes beneath the car to the two holes in the material. I have to untie knots every time I get in the car to turn the engine over. Despite this, cover is good value for the money.

This is a well made car cover which is more than adequate to cover our Audi A6. It makes no mention of the fact that it is an "ended" cover with a shaped pocket on either side for the door mirrors. These will only line up correctly when the cover is around the right way. I thought this a nice touch which should be mentioned in the sales blurb.
As this cover is only showerproof/dustproof (as stated in the description) we tend to use it when the car is going to be sat for more than a couple of days to keep the tree sap and bird crap off the car!
Although a more than generous fit under both ends of the car I don`t think the elastication alone will hold this cover on in windy conditions.There is a nylon chord supplied and 2 eyelets midway to tie it on under the car. However, it`s not exactly convenient to be scrabbling around trying to get the chord across the underside of the car especially during wet and windy conditions. I have taken to using bungee cords front and rear, this seems to work OK.
I don`t have any problems getting it in or out of the stowage bag but if it`s wet when removed from the car I just bung it in the garage to air and dry. Overall impression? It`s a well made item which does what it says on the tin at a good price.

This cover is ideal for a larger car , I have a Mercedes E Class and it fitted perfectly. I had read another review which emphasised that there are only two eyelet holes on either side near the doors to secure the cover, the cover is elasticated at the front bonnet and rear boot area. I did find that I needed to cut a couple of extra holes to ensure that the cover would be fully secure whilst being left unattended outside and needed a bit of extra string. This wouldn't be an issues for anyone who just wanted a dust cover for their vehicle, whilst in a garage though. I was still really happy with this product and it even comes with a bag for storage.

One of the very few car covers we've bought to actually last more than a year.
Most covers do terribly in winter and/or when wet. This one has held up far better than others - while it still sticks to the car if wet, it is much sturdier and less likely to rip.
As with all car covers, be careful with the car aerial, the edges, the mirrors, etc, to prevent it getting caught and tearing.
In the wind it will get blown off, but a few box clips on the wheel arches deals with that.
It's quite forgiving when being put on - lien it up at the front and you can then quite easily get it over the car.
I use it on a Ford KA and have had no problems so far.

Surrounded by trees we needed to keep the tree sap off my husbands Ford Connect Van. I already have one for my car and its been very good. It doesn't reach the ground but covers the bonnet fully, roof and down the back and sides to half way up, which is basically all we need as ones made especially for the Ford Connect Vans were much more expensive. I would definitely recommend this product and delivery was excellent, ordered Thurs eve, del Monday.

Seems good quality and value foe money. I have left my car in Spain for the Summer so time will tell. Uncertain that it is sufficiently secured to the car as the wind can be very strong during the hot summer days and there is only one piece of string to tie it under the car and elasticated ends. Personally I would have liked to have had eyelets near the wheels so that I could tie or bungee it to them as well.

I would rate this as a very good, protective cover for the money. Just be aware that it is certainly not waterproof - the material breathes - and, if used outdoors in all seasons, it will literally disintegrate after little more than a year ! But I have just bought a replacement because it fits well (medium size for a Z3) with decent elastic front and rear, and has strong side eyelets which happily take a long bungee under the car for those 'breezy' days. And, of course, it's relatively cheap : £12 -15 per annum becomes just another running cost. You also get a strong bag for all kinds of stuff !

The quality of these Maypole car covers is superb and the semi tailored fit means the cover will fit most cars with ease. As it's breathable any moisture trapped under cover will evaporate thus avoiding black mould build up on the car bodywork. My vehicle is parked under a tree and this little beauty keeps all the tree sap and bird dropping off the paintwork and ensures the car is kept clean. I've tried lesser quality covers but this Maypole cover is streets ahead of the rest. Top notch product and great value.

I have fitted this to a MGF, it is made very well, stopped bird poo, tree sap etc, will stop light rain. If it rains hard yes the water gets on to the car. Ok it fits a MGF well, maybe a bit long, once fitted 2ft or so of unused cover at back, i just tuck this under the car. I use it with a set of bungee cords to tie it down, we have had some very high winds and rain the last few weeks here on the east coast and the cover has held up like a boss, didnt come off or rip.
But However It's Keeping The Sun Off It Which Is What I Bought It For I Would Highly Recommend It.

Easy (and light) enough to unpack and fold away as needed, without much effort.
Just used it for the first time today, after washing my car, to make sure the birds didn't immediately undo my hard work.
Was a little surprised that it doesn't entirely cover my Mondeo (5-door hatch version). Would have thought a "large" cover would be too large, if anything.
However, it still gets a 4-star rating from me for ease of use and the fact it does cover the majority of the car (just long enough for the elasticated corners to stretch over the front and rear bumpers). just not quite wide enough to cover the wheels and the bottom of the doors are also left exposed, but I suppose it'd have to be a pretty crafty bird to manage to hit those.
All in all pretty happy with my purchase.

I initially bought the "Large" which did not cover my 2010 Mercedes Benz E350 very well.
I had to go for the XL which did just fine. Cool breathable and waterproof Car Cover.

Delivery was very quick. Packaging was fine and well packed. Cover covered all of my car a BMW 3 series with no problems. I left the cover on for 10 days whilst on holiday. There is a nylon tie which can be passed under the car from one side to the other. The weather in UK has been very mixed with wind, rain and sun. The cover was still in place when we got back and not damaged. As the description says, it is not a waterproof cover so we found that on removal the car was dampish and dusty. Not too disapppointed but if you are looking for full waterproof this is not it. Happy overall but not ecstatic.

I had exactly the same cover previously which lasted 2 years so I must think it good to order the same one again. Only down side is that in strong wind it will take off unless you make further attachments to the car. It does keep the paintwork nice from birds and the sun and of course saves cleaning the car so often. A must for anyone who has a very nice car but has to leave it outside.

Alfa 159ti saloon 4.60M fits perfect-I bought this because kids were scratching my car with there bikes and scooters, it's light and made of a resistant material, it is water repellant but not water resistant, water still manages to get threw, it might be because of condensation as well, it's a two man job to get it on and off, make sure you make a small incision in the right place for the antenna(not like me lol) theres a middle crease use it as a guideline, if its windy I tuck a part into one of the doors and close. It's a pain to take off when it's wet that's why a changed my plan and bought some used pedestrian barriers to put around my car, my parking spot looks like a construction site but at least it's not getting damaged :)

Looks alright and easily fits my Volvo V40. My only reservation is how it will stand up to the wind. I think with a little more thought the designers should have added more grommet points. I attached the thin piece of string they include but decided it didn't look robust enough so used some bungees as well. I hope it's still in place in the morning!
Update: Well, I removed it last month and it had done the job I bought it for. It's true it's not watertight but it did prevent my car becoming encrusted with bird droppings. Although I was concerned about it blowing off in the wind, it was fine and didn't need to be re-tied at any point. The only problem now is storing it - the little grey plimsoll bag that comes with it is far to small to contain it, even when rolled as tight as can be.

i use this to cover my van when i park it in my work unit, the roof leaks a type of lime and it marks the paint and glass so this does the job, when the leaks hit the same spot on the cover they do go through after only a short time not very waterproof even for small drips.

I bought this to cover my P4 Rover. My car is always garaged but I needed to put my car outside for a week.
My car is 15ft long and this fitted really snug. I did not need to use the centre ties.
The elasticated ends pulled neatly under the front and rear bumpers and overiders very neatly.
Handy Hint.... I did not remove the roof arial, I made a protective sleeve out of a piece of pipe lagging
and slipped it over the arial before putting the cover on the car

This is a good cover. Got it to cover our Mercedes SL which is garaged, hence we didn't need an outdoor cover. The cover is great and very large. Easily covers the vehicle. This car cover is made of strong, durable material, and is easy to place on the car. One problem is that you have to remove any aerials (hence an order being placed for a replacement which was lost on the road!), the other is that the cover is not great at staying in when windy. However, the strength of the material makes up for these issues.

Great cover for a great price. I have the new style Vauxhall Corsa and it fits perfectly. You'd think it would be a small but no. Glad I hedged my bets. I live by the sea and the wind really gets up but it stays on too. Recommended.

I was disappointed to see how much dirt passed through the cover to the car during heavy rain. I know that the cover is not supposed to be impermeable to rain, but I did not expect the car to be so dirty after a rain shower, once the cover was removed.

Bought the cover to cover an old vehicle whilst breaking. It's good value, fits pretty well and seems decent quality.
As per it's description it is BREATHABLE and does let through some moisture. It is NOT waterproof, but it doesn't claim to be!
Perfect for what I wanted, but I wouldn't recommend using it (or any cover for that matter!) on any car I care about! Too much risk of damaging paintwork, trapping moisture etc!

This cover cost a third of similar covers in Halfords and the small size is a perfect fit for our Fiesta Mk6. It is elasticated at the front and back ends with plastic grommets either side to fit a cord if required (a thin nylon cord is supplied) and so far it has stayed in place without any ties. Admittedly we haven't used it in strong winds yet and I suspect it would require some further fixing in bad weather. It is good quality and the material is thick enough to repel moisture, sticky tree sap and bird droppings, the latter two items being the chief reason this was purchased as the car is constantly parked under overhanging trees. Attaching the cover single handed might be a bit tricky as the front end is tucked under the front bumper first then a fabric handle assists in pulling the cover over the roof of the car to attach at the back bumper. This can be a little awkward if its a bit windy and so far two of us have done this together. In the mornings I brush the cover down of leaves and fold it up. In rainy weather you might need to think about finding a place to hang the wet cover to dry. A cat did have a go at sharpening its claws on the cover corner one night but I sprayed a bit of citrus cat repellent on the ground and its not been back. All in all a great cover and great value!

This item is tough and strong. I use it to cover my classic car in a dusty garage. It has elasticated "ends" it's shaped and made from a woven fabric. It fits my car very well. Note, there are a couple of plastic "eyes" used for tying the cover to the car that could damage paint in the wind if not secured properly. Our car is garaged 99% of the time and doesn't go out in the rain, however I would have no hesitation in leaving it out in the rain if it came to it. The cover wouldn't be waterproof but would be up to it and I imagine it would dry easily not adhering to the car. It would make a good frost cover in the winter and I may buy another one for this purpose on another car. I have seen other custom fitted covers made from the same fabric at over £100 and don't see the need compared to this one, it would do the job well. I've also seen waterproof custom covers at £250 and I can see the value in them if you leave your car in the wet or under sticky trees, seagulls, etc.

Bought this to stop the birds messing on my car and ultimately damaging the paintwork. Since fitting it they have now decided to wait until I leave the car uncovered before voiding their bowels... still it does work as I required and is quick to fit (although I would not fancy doing it in a strong wind or if it was raining.
Water does penetrate the cover (it is correctly advertised as resistant and not waterproof so no complaints there) meaning that the car does get dirty so, unless used for a car parked in a garage, it will not keep the car clean. Also, it cannot be fitted if the engine is hot (melting?) and must be used with a sheet if left on in the winter (with the damp penetration it might ice onto the car?) Still, there is one advantage over the PVC type, I assume that the breathability means that the car will not sweat (and rust more quickly).
It was a guess choosing the correct size, I have a Mk II Getz and the fit is great until you reach the rear when it is baggy, as if it expects to find a boot. Still no complaints, the front is elasticated (fits under the bumper) and there is a nylon string that ties across under the middle of the car and a strap in the centre of the back (this is not long enough to reach the string so I wrap it through the tow bar loop) meaning that the cover is unlikely to blow off.
It would be interesting if someone could put together a list of correct sizes/ car types to help others choose as the medium is sometimes reported to be too small for a Clio or (confusingly) too large - perhaps they are trying to get the cover over the AA tow truck too!!

The product is OK and hopefully will do the job, however, I had problems with the delivery as I had paid for express delivery and it didn't arrive, in fairness they did refund the charge, but was frustrated cos I'd had my car professionally valeted and wanted to get it covered up before any rain etc. Be prepared to wait, but would consider using the seller again as they were helpful

I bought this cover to use on a 2003 Subaru Impreza STI (Without the shopping trolley spoiler!) to keep the worst of the weather and bird mess at bay whilst on holiday. I found this medium size to be a good snug fit on this vehicle and was pleased to find it still in place after returning from a fortnight away. I have since tried on another of my cars a 2006 Honda Civic and found it to fit this reasonably well also although the unusual shape of the rear screen on this vehicle prevented the cover from pulling all the way down.
As this cover is breathable a small amount of dust can penetrate it but all in all it will protect your car from the worst and stay put. The material seems to be pretty tough and resistant to tearing unlike the cheaper non-breathable polythene based covers which I have also tried. For the money you can't go wrong, just make sure you select the right size!

I like this cover! It is light, durable fabric and fits the car very well.
It is also easy to fold up and store however it is impossible to fit back into the bag it was supplied with so I would suggest you make the storage bag larger as I had to resort to keeping it in a storage box.
Also I don't know what the 2 straps hanging off the end are meant to tie onto so have just ended up tucking them in. However, the cover looks good, neat and tidy on the car and I would definately recommend it as a good purchase for a very reasonable price to others.

I was looking for a 'value for money', yet dependable car cover to be used on occasions rather than continuously. This purchase has ticked both requirements. I've been impressed with the double stiching of seams and the general standard of the product overall. Even more impressive is the way it fits well over my car, more as though it was designed for it, although it wasn't and the silver grey material looks good too. Only time will tell how resilient it is to weathering, but first impressions are favourable and some recent strong winds have not caused any issues whatsoever, even if some nearby trees suffered! I'm sure there are better quality covers available, but if your requirements are similar to mine then I'd suggest this is an item worth serious consideration.

I bought this cover as my car has to spend a lot of time under trees which shed resinous bits in the spring and early summer.
It is a perfect size for my Yaris and fairly easy to put on - although could be difficult for a small woman unless she has some help!
Found it to be waterproof, and easy to dry off. Altogether a good purchase I think.

I gave this product 5 stars because my last one of the same make as pictured and supplied (Maypole) has lasted 3 years before a small rip has appeared along one of the stitching's, this could probably be repaired but at the price they are you may as well get another. They offer good protection, you get a very small amount of small particle dirt through after a few months where it has been chucking it down but this just washes straight off. The tie that goes under the middle of the car is great, it stops the cover taking off in high winds.
I got the large cover to accommodate a GT-R spoiler that is on my R33 GTS-T Skyline, an already large car, it fits very well.
My old one will be going to my workplace to be used there to cover up test vehicles and will probably last a while longer before being totally trashed.
I will be using these covers as long as they are available to me.

This is a good, well made and well tailored cover but I have found that it is is difficult to tie it on and it does blow off quite easily when it is windy. It is probably better as a cover for indoor use.

Luckily the cover arrived before the next fall of snow so I fastened it over the car the night before.It was a bit windy so I anchored it with two small dumbells and it stayed put.Next morning my car was the only clear vehicle to drive away,no snow,no ice,--great.A very good buy for the money.

I brought one and found the string was not long enough.As I was trying to tie it down the wind got under it and blow it away.It would better if the supplied it with a 6 ft bungee cord.So now I have had to order another one ,as the old one got damaged by some rose bushes in the wind. I love this car cover! I bought the smallest, for use on an MG Midget, and it was actually much too big. But quality is good, it's actually sculptured, not just a few rectangles sewn together. Elasticated and shaped, well finished. I've not tested it over winter yet but so far looks promising!

After reading reviews on all Amazon's car covers we chose this one-and glad we did. My husband's ancient but roadworthy workcar was letting water in at the passenger footwell in heavy rain. This was most often wnen parked at night in our road because of direction it faces. This cover has solved the problem (plenty of rain to test it too!) Yes it does take a little time to put on, but good and strong. I sent a photo to my son and he said the cover over the car looks so good he thought we were protecting a Ferrari!

I was very dubious when ordering this as some reviews were negative, however i am really pleased with it.
I have a seven seater people carrier and it's a great fit, the first time i used it i didn't know what went where, but since then it's been easy and i'm only 5'4". Also, it stays on the car even in windy conditions. I use a bungy from one hole through the loop at the rear and into the hole at the other side.
During the bad weather it's been great, everyone's out in the street scraping ice off their windscreens, i just pull off the cover and drive away. It also protects my car from leaves and branches that usually land on my car. When it snowed it was so easy to pull it off and find a 'snow free' car underneath.
So far no negatives at all. I'd definately recommend it.
I haven't attempted to get it into the 'bag' yet though, i just pull it off the car and throw it into my garden shed until i put it back on.

The Maypole Breathable car cover has been great in the recent awful weather. We bought a medium but it wasn't quite big enough so we got a large as they are so cheap. It covered a 14ft car well though we did fasten it down with elastic luggage straps.
It dried out well and folds up into the bag for storage. Definitely recommended

I bought a car cover before buying this one. I had to tie it down.
but every other day I was having to secure it because the wind would tear it or blow it partially off.
Then I purchased this cover at the same cost as my previous one.
I cannot recommend it more!! I put this over the car, made the corners go under the wheels.
We have had gales, storms, snow, you name it. It has't moved an inch.

Item arrived early then estimated. Item is easy to fit less then 5 minutes with 2 people in less then a minute. This is not a heavy duty car cover but if you want something to keep the frost and snow off this is ideal. There are two eyelets in the cover (mid car about door pillar area)so as a cord can be attached to either side off the car via the underside of the car.

Fits perfectly and not problem with the wind blowing it off unlike the half car covers. After taking off the aerial and pushing in the doots mirrors the cover is easy to fit, keeps the car dry and frost free. The only drawback is it's a struggle to get it back in the storage bag afterwards.

Unfortunately after buying this car cover to protect our 12 year old car which has been parked outside for most of the 12 years the car's engine decided to call it a day during a monsoon. Parked in a lay bye in torrential rain without the cover I got soaked. Hopefully our new car will enjoy a healthier future under the cover. It is easy to install and remove and did well before the unfortunate demise of our beloved old car.

Left it on my car for 3 weeks whilst away and it protected it very well. Only problem was it was a stretch to keep it in position (Audi A6 new shape) so it had to be kept an eye on every now and then due to wind etc.

This item is one of the best buys I have made for some time. I have usede it a number of times during last cold spell
and how nice it was to just remove the cover and drive off. No scraping and spraying. would recommend.. However I
would suggest to the makers hat they put eye holes above the four wheels so that it can be tied down during windy
weather.

My allocated space at my flat is under the only tree in the compound and in the summer, a bird sits directly over the car.
This cover is great to throw on every day to keep the acidic bird muck from damaging my paintwork and it easily folds to store in the boot in a bin liner, it even washes itself in wetter weather.
No scuffs or scratches and fits a 2007 Civic Type R perfectly.

Just what I wanted, only down side is that it needs more ties. It only has one tie which goes under the car inthe middle. Needed to use a couple of extra ties to stop it blowing off. It's not waterproof but it tells you that but it does keep the bird poo off.

Prompt service . The cover is reasonable heavy enough not to blow off the car and you have a tie in the centre to really help on this point. it isn't able to stop condensation between car and cover entirely, but OK. Also you get a bag to pack it away in for storage!

Used this on a VW Golf and Vauxhall Astra and it fitted them fine so I'd say this is suitable for medium hatchbacks.
There is a string in the middle which you can loop under the middle of the car if you want to make sure it doesn't fly off in the wind but, like other reviewers have said, it is a very fiddly thing to thread a bit of cloth under a car. Especially in the winter. So I haven't never done that and admittedly the cover has flown away a couple of times because of that. Instead I have now decided to use weights tied to the cover and since then it has never flown away.

Read other reviews of this cover - just bought a soft top beetle - garage a bit full - lots of birds to mess on the rag top - protects well - but is breathable and no condensation - easy to put on and take off - very windy where we live but if you put the elasticated corners inside the wheel arches it seems to stay - There are `eyes` which you could tie down in the middle of the cover - haven`t had to use them yet - Would recommend product at a good price

Unwittingly purchased this cover to fit a Jaguar XF, from a different source,for considerably more money, after being advised by Maypole it would be a few inches short in width and height for the car.However despite being a bit narrow, this is a very good cover. Could do with a couple more eyelets to secure in high winds.

I used this for BMW 6 series. And it was able to cover it just enough.
Its not water proof. It provides good protection from dust and scratches by pets. We have 4-5 cats in our locality and they like to stay on top of cars everytime. So I had to buy the cover to save it.

The cover is generously large and I probably could have had a smaller one but it is strong and lightweight and fits the bill perfectly at a good price. The delivery was bad! Wrong house and it took two days to travel 15 miles but it got to me eventually. Something ordered the same day got to me two days earlier and to the right house, so it's swings and roundabouts!

sent to me very smartly - does what is on the tin - my wife and i threw it over the car and then tucked it in all round - a wee bit too big for this specific car but ok - there is a bit of string supplied which you have to get under the car and tie to a hole on each side - how to get the string under the car - as i don't have a trained ferret to hand i tied one end of the string to a wheel nut and flipped it under the car - worked a treat
the quality of the cover is excellent for the money - it comes with a supplied bag to store the folded cover when not in use - tricky to get the cover back in but eventually it can be done -

where i park my car there large oak trees which provides a great roosting place for birds.thus being my car was never free of bird droppings and sap from trees.

This is a good car cover. Fits well on my car and is great for garage use (I bought this only for garage use, so cannot comment on 'exterior protection'). Comes with bag, but it would be a challenge to get it back in!

This cover is a million times better than the plastic one I had previously - no comparison. I have an MGTF and the medium size is plenty big enough. The fabric is breathable so no mould on the hood unlike the plastic cover. The fabric is soft and easy to handle and should not rip when it freezes. It's strong, well made and I am thinking about buying another one for a friend. The elasticated corners fit well on the underside of the car and it's got string which threads through strong grommets for extra security. For the money, it's brilliant. Well pleased!

Speedy delivery, received the item less than 24 hours of placing the order online. Because we have a fox problem in the car park, it was very difficult to keep the car clean, as it was always covered in paw prints. Using the cover saves me time and money on weekly car washes. The cover offers excellent protection for the car and it is reasonably easy to use. Even though I chose to buy a larger size than I realy needed, with a few adjustments it does the job perfectly. This is a good quality cover that is large - its covers my people carrier almost completely. It has two eyes for fixing a rope to secure it but when it is windy that does not hold it completely in place. It could do with a extra couple of eyes at the back and front.

I bought it mainly for use as an indoor cover but I checked it under the tap and it appears to be water resistant. As it is siliconised, or something similar, it will not necessarily stay water repellent for ever but the cover is excellent value, made to a high standard and is thicker than I expected it to be. It fits very snugly and is elasticated at the ends for a good fit. I have since ordered another two for other car owners at home.

I purchased this car cover as I had to lay up my new car for 6 weeks following an operation, and as many other people our garage is used for other things.

Totally worth the money as my car is always clean after a windy, poor weather evening. Birds have stopped off loading themselves as well which is awesome. Only thing is that when it rains REALLY heavily the water does leak through a bit, however for the money you pay, wiping off some excess water instead of washing the car all together is a trade off.

Very light and easy to put on and take off. But not so easy to fold up neatly.
Not had any strong winds yet so don't know how well it will stay on. I have anchored the tail strap with a brick at one end. Could have done with similar at the other end too, I may add some.

I bought this as i was fed up scraping the car before use, i really like this cover, just one thing, i would have liked if it had come with bungee elastics to hold cover on in case of wind, i put cord through the holes on either side and then caught it with bungee and hooked onto wheel trims to make it more secure. hope this works as its not been windy yet to test it out.frost

I only use my car at the weekend and was fed-up with bird doo doos - we live on the coast and get a lot of seagull s**t over vehicles - leaves clogging up water drainage vents, cat paw-prints and various debris messing up my car - a 1998 Mercedes 240. The vehicle is parked under a Cypress tree and sap, needles, owl pellets and seed pods also contributed to the mess.
This cover has solved the problem and allows the car to 'breath' whilst keeping it nice and clean. Please note - it is not 100% waterproof, because it is 'breathable' but certainly deflects much rain, a bit like a shower-proof jacket.
It folds up easily and you can just pop it in the boot/trunk when not in use.
I've done the Price Comparisons - the Maypole won by miles! And when it's full of seagull excrement, sap, leaves, needles and see pods, I will sling it out and buy another although I have noticed that after a good downpore it seems to have cleaned itself.

This cover works well. It is easy to use. The grommets help keep it in place. It's just the right weight, as well. Reduces, but doesn't eliminate, the problems of starting up on a frosty or snowy morning, if you have to park the car outside.
