Our secure-server software encrypts all your personal information, including credit or debit card number, name and address. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the Internet.
We use Braintree to process all credit and debit card transactions on this site. Braintree is a PayPal service that handles payments for thousands of businesses worldwide. They're certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, which is the highest level of security compliance in the payments industry.
When you enter your card details, you're filling in a form that's hosted directly by Braintree. Your card information goes straight to their secure servers without passing through our systems. We never see or store your full card number. This approach means your payment data stays protected within Braintree's secure environment from start to finish.
Braintree uses multiple layers of protection including encryption, tokenisation and fraud detection tools. Each transaction is monitored for suspicious activity. If something doesn't look right, their systems flag it for review before processing.
You'll see a padlock symbol in your browser's address bar during checkout, which confirms the connection is secure. Braintree uses industry-standard SSL technology for all data transmission, the same security protocol banks use for online banking.
