What makes this control panel particularly valuable is its automatic adaptation to system complexity - whether you're running a single MultiPlus or multiple units in parallel or three-phase configuration, the panel detects the setup and scales its current limit ranges accordingly. The rotary knob adjusts AC input current limits from your shore connection or generator, preventing overload of limited power sources whilst the eight-LED array replicates all inverter and charger status indicators found on the main units. Installation requires only a single RJ45 UTP cable connection to any available port on your VE.Bus system, with the panel drawing its power directly from the inverter-charger units rather than requiring separate power connections. The built-in configuration menu accessed via the rear button allows customisation of generator current limits, maximum operator-adjustable current thresholds, and compatibility with external transfer switches for dual-source systems. For installations using external transfer switches with generators, the rear screw terminals connect to auxiliary relay contacts that automatically switch to preset generator current limits when genset power is active, though this control panel eliminates the need to access equipment compartments for routine adjustments whilst providing comprehensive system monitoring in a compact, professional package.
