The Vango Tolga awning is designed in the new VW size perfect for campervans and conversions. Using Vango's AirBeam® Technology Tolga is simple and fast to inflate, combined with Sentinel Sport fabric which is strong durable and waterproof and uses ColourLok technology to reduce the effects of UV. A handy covered entrance allows additional living space outside your awning, whilst the SkyTrack II® System is perfect for hanging lights and adding a SkyLiner to reduce condensation and provide a thermal barrier. What do the Vango Sport AirBeam Awnings come with?
The Vango Sport VW Camper awnings are very adaptable as you can use any of 4 ways to attach it to your VW. They have a pre-attached kador strip, roof bar attachments, a sleeve for pole and clamp method of attachment or the simple over vehicle webbing straps. IAlso you will be given a double action pump, steel rock pegs and a mallet, an easy carry bag, Skyhooks for the ingenious SkyTrack system and a first aid repair kit. Does the Vango Tolga awinings use the same Vango AirBeam technology?
Let's remind ourselves about Vango’s AirBeam technology, which is integrated into these exciting sport awnings. With 20 years of development, the AirBeam technology Vango offers, ensures you a really quick pitch up time. You lucky campers will beable to relax straight away or even head out to fulfill your sporting needs! Extra strength is provided by these airbeams, giving you more peace of mind you will survive the elements by providing rigidity and stability. Performance being one of their main commitments, Vango constantly scrutinise every awning part to ensure optimum functionality. In 2015 the Vango show cased their AirSpeed Valve, which is an easy to attach valve, located higher on the awning. This makes attaching the pump easy-going. Let's look into Vango’s new Sentinel Sport fabric in more detail.......
The Vango Tolga is made from Vango’s Sentinel Sport fabric; an extremely light weight (weight of 105g/m2) fabric that is still perfectly strong and very comfortable to touch. It boasts a great space to weight ratio. With an ultraviolet protection factor of 30+ it helps protect you and your loved ones from the sun. Obviously it is waterproof with fully taped seems, which give the awning waterthight seals. The consistency of the fabric means it can be easily cleaned and benefits from the Vango ColourLok technology. This aids colour retention from UV light in your awning fabric, making your awning look fabulous for many years. The Vango Sentinel Sport fabric is 200% stronger than the sentinel active fabric many other awnings are made from. There is also a choice of colour for the Tolga awning- Moroccan Blue (with orange guy ropes and seams) or Shadow Grey (with red guy ropes and seams).

Some of the features of the Vango Tolga Awning may be small but they are definitely essential to comfort!.
With a fully sewn-in ground sheet tyou will have a draught free living space. Much cosier! A full mesh front door that allows circulation of air in and out of your awning and keeps out those nasty bugs. There are low-level vents in the Vango Tolga that also help circulate air and it's dropdown door system into the main room, makes very little tripping hazards for you to endure. With two very nicely positioned doors on either side of the connection tunnel, not only can you to go in your van without passing through your awning, but they also gives you a choice of entries depending on your pitch and view. We believe the Vango Tolga awning is very versatile.

The Diamond Clear Windows allow an optimum level of light in, but still give a very high level of visibility, so you can admire the beautiful surroundings, keep an eye on the kids whilst still giving them freedom or simply put your feet up and lazily view the peaceful campsite life! On the flip side if you have been out and about in the strong sunshine all day and need a more shaded environment, you can allow varying levels of light into the Vango Tolga awning, by using the Zip up curtains. Also, you may need to use your awning to get changed in or as a bedroom and you can achieve complete concealment with these zipped privacy curtains.

If you have managed to work out colour combo of the Tolga most suits your van, you may be wondering what extra items Vango have made to make it even more luxurious. A Tolga groundsheet protector will prolong the life of your awning and will make you less concerned about pitching on rougher terrain. Quite important to consider if your favourite sport means you are travelling more into the wilderness! A Tolga carpet is by no means essential as it already has a sewn in groundsheet, but lets be honestl who doesn't like it to be more comfortable underfoot. Soft for bere feet in summer and much more cosy in the winter. It provides more insulation from the ground if you are venturing out in colder months.
