Question

Dear Tom, my door lock on my Abbey GTS 420 is very stiff to turn the key, the inside is a grey colour with the red and green painted dots for lock and unlock, I have sprayed with wd 40, but this has not helped, and I am worried it may break the key. How door I remove the lock from the inside of the van, I have undone the two screws under the hidden plate, but it does not come free, and I don't want to force it?

Answer

There are two screws underneath the green and red stoppers. These are difficult to remove unless you drill a small hole in each so you can lever them out.
