Have a RM 4270 dometic fridge the thermo coupling went . I bought a new one it worked for a couple of days then stopped working can you give me some advice please

There are several reasons why the fridge flame may not stay alight-
1. Faulty thermocouple
2. Tip of thermocouple not positioned correctly in the flame
3. Dirt on the connection between the thermocouple and the gas valve
4. Faulty magneto in the gas valve
