Hello, how do i drain the fresh water tank and the Truma water heater on my compass Avantgarde 200 motorhome, when frost threatens

The fresh water tank will have a drain valve somewhere attached to the tank, I can’t tell you where as they are all different, If your Truma heater has a manual drain valve it will be by the heater fitted into the cold water feed pipe and you simply move it to the vertical position to drain the tank, it would be advisable to open all the taps to make sure you don’t get any air locks when draining. If it has an electronic drain valve this will automatically drain the water when the temperature drops below 6 degrees, if you have this system it would still be advisable to open the taps when leaving the van unused during freezing conditions
