Question

Hi I have a Truma Ultraheat which works on pilot flame but when burner tries to light the flame appears to "lift off" and pops etc. All the time I keep the knob depressed it will continue to try to light. I have tried replacing the gas bottle regulator with one off a van I know works but this did not cure the problem. Any ideas ? JK

Answer

I would suggest that you have the fire removed and serviced. It could be a faulty burner causing the problem or it could be a partially blocked jet. The fire has to be removed to check.
