Question

Hi Tom, I have a comet mixer tap with shower outlet, when testing it out I found that not only does water come out of the shower head but pours from the top of the tap as well. I have removed the mixer tap top to reveal a large Nikon nut .....question are these taps separable. Regards Ray

There is probably a cartridge in your tap. This can be removed by undoing the nut. If there are microswitches fitted on your tap be very careful when undoing this nut to ensure that you do not damage the microswitch wiring. If the cartridge is removable it will be available as a spare part on our website.
