Question

Hi Tom, I have a horse box fitted with Whale Elegance taps with the following problem. Turn on cold tap at sink or shower water flows freely. Turn on hot water tap in shower water flows very slowly, however pump is working. Turn on hot water tap at sink, no flow and pump not operating. Could this be that the tap is faulty and I have air in the system as a result. Kind Regards

It appears that the microswitch is faulty in the hot tap of the kitchen sink. The reduced flow of water at the shower may be caused by a faulty non-return valve in the water heater. What type of water heater do you have? On most water heaters there is a non-return valve at the cold water inlet and sometimes this may get stuck causing a reduced flow of hot water.
