Hi Tom. I have an electrolux rm6271 fridge in my van.It works on electric fine but when using gas, the pilot light keeps going out when the knob is released. We tried another thermostat but that didnt have any effect. (Maybe the new thermostat wasnt the right one) Can you tell me the part number for a new thermostat.thanks.

Hi. The problem with your fridge will be the thermocouple not the thermostat. Before you replace the thermocouple try pulling the knob off an pushing the knob shaft in when lighting it, sometimes the knob can hit the outer cover of the fridge before the thermomagnetic is engaged. If this does not work you will need to replace the thermocouple, this can be found by entering your fridge product number on the spare parts section of the website
