Hi Tom, the cold water tap on the Whale Elegance just spins around, the hot tap is working fine. Do I need just a replacement tap or something more? And is it an easy replacement job?

It sound as if the shaft has broken. Pull the knob upwards to remove and you should find that spindle is broken. You will need to reve the broken part by partial dis-assembly involving lifting the whole tap assembly from the sink. Once you have removed the broken part then replace with our part 130547 (beige) or part 130546 (white)
