I have a Bessacarr e495 2007 the Truma water heater only works on 240v by turning fused spur on and off next to heater under seat and not the at the main LCD control panel above door? Is this right

The panel above the door will usually only operate the 12 volt systems in the Motorhome. You are unlikely to have any control of the 240 volt system from the control system fitted in the van, so you will have to turn your waterheater on from the spur switch.
