Question

I have a Ultraheat s3002 but the temperature fluctuates a lot. Its maximum temp is okay but then it drops 3 degrees Celsius before thermostat starts the unit again. Probable cause?

Answer

This is likely to be the normal range over which the thermostat operates due to the hysteresis loop associated with the item. I will check with Truma.
