Question

I need to replace my whale taps. How do I disconnect the hot and cold pipes before fitting the replacement part?

Answer

I assume that you have push-fit connectors on the taps. This type of connector is released by pressing the central collar of the fitting inwards (towards the fitting itself).
The fitting will pull away from the tap.
