Question

My Electrolux 4230 Fridge is no longer working on gas - I can't see a spark when I ignite and certainly no blue flame. It was working about 3 weeks ago. It works fine on 240V and on 12V when running. I'm assuming, because I can not see a spark that this is the problem (although seeing the flame and spark is always a challenge). Should I change the spark plug, the igniter or both? Is it easy to fit a spark plug to the igniter cable?

The first thing to do is remove the fridge from the caravan, clean the burner and replace the jet. This should be done by a Gas Safe engineer. The igniter can be checked with the fridge removed to ensure that there is a good spark at the burner. The jet is our part 127391.
