Question

The Whale Aquasmart 0815 fitted in our caravan cycles for a few seconds every couple of minutes when water is not being drawn. Is this normal or does the filter or some other part need changing? It can be a bit annoying at night so we have to switch the pump off!

Answer

You will have a very small leak in the system which is allowing the pressure to drop. As the pressure drops the pump will try to compensate by running for a few seconds.
